المستخلص: The main objective of the study is to define the role of the university professor in improving the quality of the methods of students' evaluation and ways to contribute to improving the output of university education. To achieve the above objective, the study sought to answer the following questions:
1 - What are the most prominent criteria of academic accreditation bodies concerning methods and ways of the assessment of students?
2- What is the reality of the level of the output of university education?
3- What is the role of the university professor in improving the quality of the methods and evaluation of students and its ways to contribute to improving the output of university education?
The sample of the study consisted of (60) faculty members of Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah, and King Faisal University in Al-Ahsa, in addition to (83) students from both universities.
To analyze the study data, the researcher used percentages, arithmetic averages and standard deviations, as well as the Alpha Cronbach equation to calculate the stability to determine the diagnosis of the reality of evaluation process of the university student in the Kingdom.
The literature was reviewed to identify the most prominent standards of the relevant academic accreditation bodies and prepare the necessary study tools to diagnose the reality of the level of university education outputs and then identify the roles of the university professor that can contribute to improving the quality of methods and ways of students' evaluation. Thus contributing to the improvement of the outcomes of university education.
The study concluded that there is a weakness in the output of university education and that this weakness has adverse effects on society in its various institutions, as well as the university institution in terms of weakening its chances of obtaining academic accreditation for its programs.
The study also concluded that the university professor could play many roles that could contribute to improving the output of university education including the use of appropriate evaluation methods. That goal (improving output) can be achieved as hoped if there is a high degree of integration and coordination between the university professor, the university institution and the Ministry of Higher Education. This includes the preparation and implementation of specialized training programs in several areas, including teaching strategies, thinking skills, evaluation methods, and the provision of the necessary material and moral incentives for the university professor to encourage him to enroll in those programs in addition to providing the necessary materials and equipment in the classrooms.
The study also recommended the importance of the university professor joining these training programs, using the experience gained in the field, in addition to paying attention to quarterly work (research, reports, and duties), to emotional and skills areas, and activating the method of discussion and dialogue.

يتمثل الهدف الرئيس من الدراسة في تحديد دور الأستاذ الجامعي في تحسين نوعية طرائق تقويم الطلبة وأساليبه بما يسهم في تجويد مخرجات التعليم الجامعي. ولتحقيق الهدف السابق سعت الدراسة إلى الإجابة عن الأسئلة الآتية:
1-ما أبرز معايير هيئات الاعتماد الأكاديمي المتعلقة بطرائق تقويم الطلبة وأساليبه ؟.
2-ما واقع مستوى مخرجات التعليم الجامعي ؟.
3-ما دور الأستاذ الجامعي في تحسين نوعية طرائق وتقويم الطلبة وأساليبه بما يسهم في تجويد مخرجات التعليم الجامعي؟.
وتمثلت عينة الدراسة في (60) عضوا من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة أم القرى بمكة المكرمة ، وجامعة الملك فيصل بالأحساء، إضافة إلى (83) طالباً في كلتا الجامعتين.
ولتحليل بيانات الدراسة استخدم الباحث النسب المئوية والمتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية ، إضافة إلى معادلة ألفا كرونباخ لحساب الثبات لاستبانة تشخيص واقع عملية تقويم الطالب الجامعي بالمملكة.
وتمت مراجعة الأدبيات بهدف تعرف أبرز معايير هيئات الاعتماد الأكاديمي ذات العلاقة، وإعداد أدوات الدراسة اللازمة لتشخيص واقع مستوى مخرجات التعليم الجامعي ومن ثم تحديد أدوار الأستاذ الجامعي التي يمكن أن تسهم في تحسين نوعية طرائق تقويم الطلبة وأساليبه ، وبالتالي الإسهام في تحسين مخرجات التعليم الجامعي.
وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى وجود ضعف في مخرجات التعليم الجامعي وأن لذلك الضعف تأثيرات سلبية في المجتمع بمؤسساته المختلفة إضافة إلى المؤسسة الجامعية من حيث إضعاف فرصها في الحصول على الاعتماد الأكاديمي لبرامجها.
كما خلصت الدراسة إلى إمكانية قيام الأستاذ الجامعي بالعديد من الأدوار التي يمكن أن تسهم في تجويد مخرجات التعليم الجامعي ، منها ما يتعلق بتوظيف طرائق التقويم المناسبة وأساليبه ، وأن ذلك الهدف (تجويد المخرجات) يمكن أن يتحقق على النحو المأمول إذا ما وجدت درجة كبيرة من التكامل والتنسيق بين الأستاذ الجامعي والمؤسسة الجامعية ووزارة التعليم العالي ، ومن ذلك العمل على إعداد برامج تدريبية متخصصة وتنفيذها في عدة مجالات، منها استراتيجيات التدريس، ومهارات التفكير، وطرائق التقويم وأساليبه، وتقديم الحوافز المادية والمعنوية اللازمة للأستاذ الجامعي لتشجيعه على الالتحاق بتلك البرامج ، إضافة إلى توفير المواد والتجهيزات اللازمة في القاعات الدراسية.
كما أوصت الدراسة بأهمية التحاق الأستاذ الجامعي بتلك البرامج التدريبية ، وتوظيف الخبرات المكتسبة في الميدان، إضافة إلى الاهتمام بالأعمال الفصلية (من أبحاث وتقارير وواجبات)، وبالمجالين الوجداني والمهارى، وبتفعيل طريقة المناقشة والحوار.
