المستخلص: Narrators of the Prophetic Hadith had played a great role in its spread in the East and West of Arab Homeland and henceforth its acceptability to the Islamic world. Though there were many of them, the credibility of the narrated Hadiths is not approved unless they come from one of four sources (narrators) which are mentioned in the this study. In this study ( Entitled: The Narration of Ibn Mahan of The Sahih of Muslim According to the People Of Al-Maghrib- A Study in the Prophetic Hadith), I try to make a comparison between the two narrations (That of Ibn Sufyan and the Ibn Mahan's narration). I aim at identifying the Hadiths which the two narrators have delivered with obvious differences. The following are our findings and conclusion: 1- When we examined the various versions of the Prophetic Hadith, we found that these versions show some differences. And we found that these differences are caused by the successive narrators . 2- The appearance or disappearance of differences in the delivered Hadiths is governed by the capability of the successive narrators to deliver the exact of the original Hadith. 3- The narrators of Sahih Muslim are trustworthy, and that what makes our study far from being subjctive to be judged as correct or weak. 4- Considering the type of differences appeared in the various versions of Hadith, we found that it is possible to reach a compromise between the two narrations. 5- Scholars has paid a great attention to the study of Hadith, and they noted that such difference cause on harm . 6-The number of differences in the various versions of Hadith, is considered very small when compared with great number of Hadiths.

7- We found (120) differences in the chains of the transmitters of some Hadiths in addition to some differences in their texts. Then, after detecting thoroughly, we found that these differences were caused by mistakes misspelling, distortion, misplacement of the diacritical marks, or mispronunciation. Henceforth, the number differences is reduced to (). 8-Through out the search course, we met several manuscripts descending from the two above mentioned narrations. 9- Earliest Imams (Scholars) tackled this very problem of differences, and they proved that Sahih Muslim is no less important that Sahih Al-Bukhari. 10- In this study, we relied basically on the books of Shurhh Al-Hadith to check the exact names of the men(transmitters), their family names, their titles, and their countries . Moreover, we checked the Ghareeb Al-Hadith wherever they occurred through out the study. 11- We concluded that we could avoid mentioning the mistakes and the misapprehension as long as we reach could compromise concerning the two narrations.
