Because of the use of social networking has become a ritual practiced by college students on a daily basis it has touched your search intensity and severity and deliberate and times and the timing of such use in addition to the main motivations and ways to participate and the most important causes and consequences the research has come to the results of the most prominent of several board turmoil in the use of net working through space time and diversity in place, and the nature of electronic device used, and the use of the different motives and the method of multiple participation and positive interaction with the rest of the participants in these network. The research was based on the soiree of modern araband foreign as well as localized websites in order to rooting theoretical research topic pave the way to abrader perception especially as the use of social networking in general is relatively recent in Iraq and the Arab world.

يهتم البحث بالإطار العملي لأنماط ودوافع تعرض طلبة الجامعات العراقية لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي بعد الحضور الكبير لوسائل الأعلام الجديد، لاسيما لدى الشباب، حيث بدأت تحل تدريجيا محل وسائل الأعلام التقليدية في ضوء التطور التقني اللافت في الأعوام الأخيرة، والذي يلقي بضلاله على وسائل الاتصال بشكل عام. وقد سعى البحث من خلال أطره النظرية والمنهجية والميدانية إلى استشراف رؤى الشباب وأفكارهم بشأن شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي كنمط جديد حديث الانتشار في العراق، ومعرفة جوانبه الإيجابية والسلبية، فضلا عن عادات الاستخدام، ومدى وأسباب التفاعل في هذه الشبكات التي تشهد إقبالاً كبيراً من قبل طلبة الجامعات العراقية. ولان استخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي أصبح طقسا من الطقوس التي يمارسها طلبة الجامعات بشكل يومي، فقد تطرق البحث إلى كثافة وشدة وقصدية وأوقات وتوقيتات هذا الاستخدام، بالإضافة إلى أبرز الدوافع، وطرق المشاركة، وأهم مسبباتها ونتائجها. وقد توصل البحث إلى نتائج عدة أبرزها الأقبال الواسع في استخدام شبكات التواصل من خلال مساحة الزمن، والتنوع في المكان، وطبيعة الأجهزة الإلكترونية المستخدمة، ودوافع الاستخدام المختلفة، وطريقة المشاركة المتعددة، والتفاعل الإيجابي مع بقية المشتركين في هذه الشبكات. واستند البحث إلى المصادر الحديثة العربية والأجنبية والمترجمة فضلا عن المواقع الإلكترونية من اجل التأصيل النظري لموضوع البحث بطريقة تمهد إلى إدراك أوسع، لاسيما أن استخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي عموما يعد حديث نسبيا في العراق والوطن العربي.
