المستخلص: يتناول هذا البحث ظاهرة سوء الفهم للنصوص الشرعية، فسوء الفهم عن الله ورسوله صلي الله عليه وسلم أصل كل بدعة وضلالة، - لاسيما إن كان عن سوء قصد – فما خرجت الخوارج، وما افترقت الفرق إلا بسبب سوء الفهم عن الله ورسوله. وقد أبان البحث أن من أسباب سوء الفهم الخاطئ للنصوص الشرعية: التعصب للرأي، والجهل بمقاصد الشرعية وأحكامها، وعدم أتباع منهج السلف من أهل السنة والجماعة في فهم النصوص، والخلل في مصادر التلقي للعلم الشرعي (البعد عن العلماء)، والجهل بالعلم الشرعي. والفهم الصحيح يحتاج إلى إعمال العقل وتنمية مهارات التفكير بعد التمكن من العلوم الشرعية وعلوم الآلة كعلم اللغة وأصول الفقه وأصول التفسير ونحو ذلك، والرجوع إلى العلماء والتلقي عنهم يعين على الفهم الصحيح لمعاني النصوص الشرعية، والرجوع إليهم من أسباب العز والنصر والاستقرار، وقبل ذلك وبعده لجوء العبد إلى ربه أن يرزقه الفهم عنه وعن رسوله صلي الله عليه وسلم. فالفهم الصحيح: هو حسن تصور المعني المراد من لفظ المخاطب وإدراك مراميه، وهو المراد بالفهم عن الله ورسوله أي العلم والمعرفة بمعاني كلام الله وكلام رسوله صلي الله عليه وسلم. والفهم الفاسد: هو الذي لم يستمد من كتاب الله، ولا عن سنة رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم، المخالف لسلف هذه الأمة من الصحابة والتابعين ومن تبعهم بإحسان.

This research deals with the phenomenon of misunderstanding the religious texts in that the misunderstanding of Allah (SWT) and His Prophet (PBUH) is the source of every fabrication and aberration, especially if it was in bad faith – such that what the Kharijites and other sects did was due to the misunderstanding of Allah (SWT) and His Messenger (PBUH). This research shows that the causes of misunderstanding of religious texts include intolerance of opinion, ignorance of the purposes of Sharia and its laws, failing to follow the path of the forefathers of the people of Sunnah and the Community in understanding Islamic texts, and a flawed approach to the sources of religious science (i.e., staying away from Muslim scholars), and ignorance of religious science. The correct understanding needs to utilize the mind and develop thinking skills after having mastery of religious sciences and the supporting sciences such as linguistics, foundations of jurisprudence, and foundations of interpretation, and so on. This also includes referring to scholars and acquiring their knowledge which will help in the correct understanding of the meanings of religious texts and will lead to glory, victory and stability. Above all, the servant must resort to Allah (SWT) and ask for guidance and understanding. The correct understanding means being faithful to the intended meaning of the addresser and recognize his goals, which means understanding of Allah SWT and His Messenger, that is, knowledge of the meanings of the words of Allah and His Messenger. Corrupt understanding is one that is derived neither from the Book of Allah SWT nor from the Sunnah of His Messenger PBUH, and one that is contrary to the path of the forefathers of Ummah among whom are the companions, the followers, and those who followed them with kindness.
