المستخلص: بعد ثورة الاتصالات وإلغاء المسافات واقتراب الناس على اختلاف أجناسهم وتحطيم الحواجز الزمانية والمكانية أصبح العالم قرية صغيرة. لذا بات من الهام والحتمي تعظيم القيم القومية وتأكيد الهوية لكل أمة من اجل الدفاع عن جذورها التاريخية التي تنفرد بها في خضم التراكم الهائل من صراع الثقافات. وللمصمم دورا كبيرا في ذلك بالتنقيب في التراث وغربلته وانتخاب كل عنصر صالح فيه للاستمرار سواء في صورته التقليدية أو بعد معالجته بصورة جديدة .ونتيجة لندرة البحوث والدراسات التي تتناول وحدات زخرفية من التراث الكويتي لتوظيفها في صورة تصميمات للأقمشة، وافتقار الأسواق العربية عامة والخليجية خاصة لتصميمات اقمشه تحمل الطابع القومي، كذلك لاهتمام دولة الكويت بتراثها وإصرارها على تأكيد هويتها خاصة بعد الغزو الغاشم من قبل دولة العراق ومحاولتها طمس الهوية الكويتية تم اختيار موضوع البحث لعمل تصميمات لأقمشة وملابس السيدات مستوحاة من التراث الكويتي ثم قياس درجة قبولها لدى جمهور المستهلكات من الطالبات عن طريق استبانة استطلاع رأى التي كان من نتائج تحليلها الإحصائي قبول تصميمات الأقمشة بدرجة جيدة وقبول تصميمات الملابس بدرجة جيد جدا. وفى النهاية أوصى البحث بضرورة نشر الوعي الثقافي لأي أمة بالتركيز على وحداتها الزخرفية التراثية لتأكيد هويتها ولتنمية روح المواطنة لدى أفرادها. كذلك ضرورة إضفاء روح الأصالة على كل ما هو جديد من منتجات.

So the designer plays, a great role in studying and analyzing. The cultural heritage to select the most useful and powerful element which could Achieve eternal existence - in its traditional form or of the series of modification. As a result of the rarity of studies and researches which tackle the elements of decorations from the Kuwaiti heritage to employee it to create a new designs of women clothes the absence of designs that inflects the Nat and features of the Arab nation markets the Gulf markets particular to design clothes which neglect the features of Heroic nationalism and the great Kuwaiti an intention of the heritage and the states determine of resurrecting the Kuwaiti heritage to confirm their identity specially Eraq invasion which was complain and with the antes of the loss of Kuwait identity, the subject of the research has been appointed. The subject of the research aims at inventing designs of women clothes impaired from the Kuwait heritage then know their circulation. on the markets through an opinion circulation of that designs. So that this research recommends to the necessity of spreading cultural a warns of the any nation by concentrating on its cultural heritage of decoration to confirm its identity and to improve the spirit of citizen ship with among its citizens, in illation to the significance of reflecting the spirit of originality on every new product.
