هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن فاعلية استخدام الويب كويست، كأحد نماذج التعلم المعتمد على شبكة المعلومات على تنمية بعض المفاهيم الوراثية، واتجاه الطلاب نحو استخدام شبكة المعلومات. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف استخدمت الدراسة المنهج شبه التجريبي، حيث تم استخدام الويب كويست التي تم تصميمها وتنفيذها حول موضوع الخلل الوراثي والذي تضمن المفاهيم الواردة تحت عنوان الحالات الكروموسومية الشاذة في الإنسان، والوارد في باب الوراثة للصف الأول الثانوي. وقد تم اختيار هذا الموضوع لأنه يتضمن مفاهيما صعبة مجردة، وهو أيضا من الموضوعات التي تتطلب الاستعانة بشبكة المعلومات؛ فالكتاب المدرسي عادة ما يقدم نموذجا من هذه الأمراض تمثل التصنيفات الرئيسية لها، وتطلب من الطلاب التعرف على المزيد منها-وقد تم تدريسها لطلاب المجموعة التجريبية، ومقارنتهم بطلاب المجموعة الضابطة التي تدرس نفس الموضوع بالطريقة المعتادة في التدريس. وبتحليل النتائج توصلت الدراسة إلى فاعلية استخدام الويب كويست كأحد تطبيقات التعلم المعتمد على شبكة المعلومات في تنمية المفاهيم الوراثية والاتجاهات نحو استخدام شبكة المعلومات.
The study aimed to detect the effectiveness of the use of Web Quest, as one of the Internet Based Learning models on the development of some genetic concepts, and attitudes towards the use of Internet in first-grade secondary students. To achieve this objective the study used a quasi- experimental approach, where Web Quest, which was designed and implemented on the topic of genetic Disorders - which included concepts contained under the heading of cases of chromosomal anomalies in humans and contained in the topic of genetics for first grade secondary. This topic was chosen because it includes difficult and abstract concepts and is also one of the topics that require using the internet; that is because the textbook usually offers models of these diseases representing their main categories and asks the students to learn more examples -This Web Quest has been used to teach students of the experimental group and compared with the control group students taught the same topic in the usual way in teaching. By analyzing the results, the study findings proved the effectiveness of the use of Web Quest as one of the Internet Based learning applications in the development of genetic concepts and attitudes towards the use of Internet.
