This study aimed to Identify the fact of student violence at Yarmouk University and the availability of procedural methods to reduce the manifestations of violence in the university community, questionnaire research has been designed, study was conducted on a stratified random sample of (300) students from all colleges, has revealed the results of the study approval the sample of a problem student violence at Yarmouk University. They Confirmed palaces university administration to take firm action to address the student violence with a mean (2.26) on the overall terms of the reality of student violence, and stressed respondents watching the manifestations of student violence among university students with a mean (2 0.82) and this result beyond what is recorded and documented with the university administration, and the results indicated that the availability of procedural methods by the university administration to reduce the manifestations of violence came a low grade with a mean (1.57), as was the appropriateness of preventive methods by the university administration to reduce the manifestations of violence moderately with a mean (3.01) the results also indicated the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05 ) responses to the sample on the availability of procedural methods depending on the variable college and in favor of colleges humanity, and the lack of differences statistically significant due to sex, place of residence, the school level. The study recommended the design of training programs for faculty members and those who have direct contact with students example psychologists and social workers to activate the role of the direction and guidance in modifying the behavior of students and reinforce the authority of the university administration and the application of the system of accountability and rejection of the policy of favoritism and give certificates of appreciation for outstanding students behaviorally Student violence understand.
هدفت هذه الدراسة للتعرف على واقع العنف الطلابي في جامعة اليرموك ومدى توافر الأساليب الإجرائية للحد من مظاهر العنف في المجتمع الجامعي تم تصميم استبانة بحثية، وقد أجريت الدراسة على عينة عشوائية طبقية قوامها (300) طالب وطالبه من جميع الكليات، كشفت نتائج الدراسة موافقة أفراد العينة على وجود مشكلة العنف الطلابي في جامعة اليرموك وأكدوا على قصور إدارة الجامعة باتخاذ إجراءات حازمة لمواجهة العنف الطلابي بمتوسط حسابي (2.26) على مجمل بنود واقع العنف الطلابي، وأكد أفراد العينة مشاهدتهم لمظاهر العنف الطلابي بين طلبة الجامعة بمتوسط حسابي (2.82) وهذه نتيجة تفوق ما هو سجل وموثق لدى إدارة الجامعة، وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إن توافر الأساليب الإجرائية من قبل إدارة الجامعة للحد من مظاهر العنف جاء بدرجة منخفضة بمتوسط حسابي (1.57) ، كما جاء مدى ملاءمة الأساليب الوقائية من قبل إدارة الجامعة للحد من مظاهر العنف بدرجة متوسطة بمتوسط حسابي (3.01) كما أشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05=a) لاستجابات أفراد العينة على مدى توافر الأساليب الإجرائية تبعا لمتغير الكلية ولصالح الكليات الإنسانية، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تبعا لمتغيرات النوع، مكان السكن، المستوى الدراسي وأوصت الدراسة بتصميم برامج تدريبية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس ومن لهم اتصال مباشر مع الطلبة كالمختصين النفسيين والاجتماعيين لتفعيل دور الإرشاد والتوجيه في تعديل سلوك الطلبة وتعزيز سلطة الإدارة الجامعية وتطبيق نظام المسائلة ورفض سياسة المحسوبية وإعطاء شهادات تقديرية للطلبة المتميزين سلوكيا.
