المستخلص: On February 6 2017, the Israeli Knesset approved what is called the Settlement Regulation Law for the Judea and Samaria (West Bank). The present report reviews the legislation's main rulings, serious impacts on the Palestinian land occupied in 1967 and the Israeli official determination to carry on with the course of settlement. It is concluded that the International Law provisions and the UN resolutions relevant to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank in 1967 constitute peremptory norms. In legal terms, these cannot be violated and are higher than the internal law of the occupying state. According to the UN, the occupation state may not possess the public or private land of the other (the Palestinians). Actually, any acts by such a state, whether legislation, judicial verdicts and or administrative decisions are non-existent, do not establish any right for the state or its settlers and shall be abolished. It is also very important to resist such kind of legislative, administrative and official course by the occupation, using all legitimate means. The International Criminal Court shall be notified to halt and/or abolish the carry out of this settlement project. Furthermore, the UN General Assembly shall be urged to issue resolutions criminalizing these laws and/or procedures, utilizing the international references of reports and resolutions with regard to the acts and decisions of the occupation. Finally, these steps need to taken as soon as possible.
