المستخلص: This survey aims at recognizing the reality of the social responsibility and protecting the environment in Al-Faris Firm for pharmaceutical industries in Syria besides demonstrating the relations between the adoption of the social responsibility by this company and its impact on environmental protection. this falls within the scope of the research question which can be summarized as follows: what is the impact of adopting corporate social responsibility at al Fares Company for Pharmaceutical Industries in Syria on the protection of the environment? The importance of this survey lies on two sides: 1. The fact that this research deals with a vital aspect in the life of the business organizations and society alike which is -in other words- the company’s social responsibility and environment protection. 2. The second lies in achieving the objective by identifying the reality of social responsibility in Al- Faris Company for pharmaceutical industries in Syria and its effect on the environmental protection by considering the views of the managers and employees in the firm and making suggestions and recommendations for those who are in charge of the firm with a view to developing systems and programs of social responsibility and environmental protection in the company. In order to fulfill such goals of the current survey and to test hypotheses, the researcher has worked on designing a questionnaire to collect the required data from the study’s sample whose members’ reached (97) person distributed among all the workers of the company (whether they are employers or employees) where some of them were restored and others were cancelled. The numbers of the valid questionnaires for analysis were (73) with a (75, 26%) percentage of research society. While using the appropriate statistics tests, the study found that there is an adoption of the social protection in Al-Faris Company for pharmaceutical industries in Syria with a moderate rate by an average that reached 3.44 The company also commits of protecting the environment with a greater than average which reached 3.99. The survey emphasized on the positive relation between the company’s adoption of social responsibility and its impact on preserving environment ( R=0.479) which in result shows how the company’s adoption of social society could affect positively on the company’s adoption for protecting environment

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع المسؤولية الاجتماعية وحماية البيئة في شركة الفارس للصناعات الدوائية في سورية، بالإضافة إلى تبيان العلاقة بين تبني هذه الشركة للمسؤولية الاجتماعية وأثرها على حماية البيئة. في إطار مشكلة البحث المتمثلة بالسؤال التالي: ما هو أثر تبني المسؤولية الاجتماعية في شركة الفارس للصناعات الدوائية على حماية البيئة ؟ وتكمن أهمية الدراسة في جانبين، الأول: كون البحث يتناول جانبا حيويا في حياة منظمات الأعمال والمجتمع على حد سواء، وهو المسؤولية الاجتماعية للشركات وحماية البيئة، والثاني: المتمثل في معرفة واقع المسؤولية الاجتماعية في شركة الفارس للصناعات الدوائية في سورية، وأثر ذلك على حماية البيئة من خلال معرفة آراء المديرين والعاملين في الشركة، وتقديم المقترحات والتوصيات للقائمين على الشركة، بهدف تطوير أنظمة وبرامج المسؤولية الاجتماعية وحماية البيئة في الشركة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة واختبار الفرضيات، فقد عمل الباحث على تصميم استبانة لجمع البيانات المطلوبة من عينة الدراسة المأخوذة، التي بلغ عدد أفرادها (97) موزعة على جميع العاملين في الشركة (مديرين-عمال). حيث تم استعادة عدد منها وإلغاء عدد آخر، وكان عدد الاستبانات الصالحة للتحليل هو (73) استبانة، وبنسبة وقدرها (%75.26) من مجتمع البحث. وباستخدام الاختبارات الإحصائية المناسبة توصلت الدراسة، أنه يوجد تبني للمسؤولية الاجتماعية في شركة الفارس للصناعات الدوائية في سورية بدرجة متوسطة (المتوسط الحسابي= 3.44)، وكذلك تلتزم الشركة بحماية البيئة بدرجة أكبر من متوسطة (المتوسط الحسابي = 3.99)، وأكدت الدراسة على وجود علاقة إيجابية بين تبني الشركة للمسؤولية الاجتماعية وأثر ذلك على حماية البيئة (0.479=R)، أي أن تبني الشركة للمسؤولية الاجتماعية يؤثر بشكل إيجابي (زيادة) على تبني الشركة لحماية البيئة.
