المستخلص: في ضوء الأهمية المتزايدة بموضوع الجدارات المهنية اللازمة لرؤساء الأقسام الأكاديمية، وضعف معارف وخبرات بعض رؤساء تلك الأقسام بالجامعات المصرية ومنها جامعة أسيوط، مما يؤثر على مستوى مهارات الإدارة الجامعية لديهم ويعوقهم عن تحقيق الأهداف المرجوة؛ ولذلك فقد برزت فكرة دراسة الجدارات المهنية لرؤساء الأقسام الأكاديمية باعتبارهم المحرك الأول للتطوير والنمو والتقدم والسير بالأقسام نحو التميز، وتحقيق أهداف الأقسام الأكاديمية، وتحقيق رؤية ورسالة الجامعة من خلال التخصصات العلمية المختلفة.
ومن هنا، أتى هذا البحث لتحقيق هدف رئيس هو وضع تصور مقترح للجدارات المهنية اللازمة لرؤساء الأقسام الأكاديمية بجامعة أسيوط من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس.
ولتحقيق هذا الهدف استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، كما تم الاعتماد على الاستبانة - من إعداد الباحثة - التي تم تطبيقها على جولتين باستخدام أسلوب دلفي Delphi Technique على عينة بلغت (١٠٠) عضوا من أعضاء هيئة التدريس ذكورا وإناثا ببعض الكليات النظرية والعملية بجامعة أسيوط، وفى نهاية البحث تم وضع تصور مقترح لأهم الجدارات المهنية اللازمة لرؤساء الأقسام الأكاديمية بجامعة أسيوط في ضوء الإطارين النظري والميداني للبحث، تمثلت في تسع جدارات، هي: جدارات قيادية، جدارات إدارية، جدارات أكاديمية، جدارات فنية، جدارات فكرية، جدارات معرفية ، جدارات تكنولوجية، جدارات إنسانية، جدارات شخصية؛ لمساعدتهم على ممارسة شتى مجالات عملهم، ومواجهة التغييرات والمستجدات بفعالية وكفاءة عالية من أجل تحقيق أعلى مستوى في الممارسات والعمليات والنواتج والخدمات في القسم والكلية والجامعة. هذا، وقد ذيلت الباحثة هذا البحث بقائمة للمراجع.

In light of the increasing importance of the subject of professional competencies required for heads of academic departments, and the weak knowledge and experience of some heads of these departments in Egyptian universities, including Assiut University, which affects the level of university management skills among them hindering them from achieving the desired goals; therefore, the idea of studying the professional competencies of the heads of academic departments has emerged as they represent the first engine of development, growth and progress and the advancement of the departments towards excellence, achieving the goals of the academic departments, and achieving the vision and mission of the university through various scientific disciplines.
Hence, this research came to achieve a major goal, which is to develop a proposed paradigm of the professional competencies required for heads of academic departments at Assiut University from the viewpoint of faculty members.
To achieve this goal, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and the questionnaire - prepared by the researcher - was applied to two rounds using the Delphi Technique method on a sample of (100) male and female faculty members in some theoretical and practical colleges at the University of Assiut. At the end of the research, a proposed paradigm of the most important professional competencies required for heads of academic departments at Assiut University was developed in light of the theoretical and field frameworks of the research, represented by nine competencies as follows: leadership competencies, administrative competencies, academic competencies, artistic competencies, intellectual competencies, knowledge competencies, technological competencies, human competencies, personal competencies to help them practice the various fields of their work, and to face the changes and developments effectively and efficiently in order to achieve the highest level in practices, processes, products and services in the department, college and university. The researcher appended a list of references to this research.
