المستخلص: يتناول هذا المقال بالدراسة مشكلة النبوة لدى النساء في الديانات السماوية الثلاثة: الإسلام واليهودية والمسيحية، وذلك من خلال بحث مفهوم النبوة في كل ديانة وتتبع من قيل بنبوتهن، أو بحث أسباب المنع من نبوتهن أو إرسالهن. وعليه فهذا المقال يقفنا على صفات النبي، وخصائص النبوة عموماً، وعلى جنس حامل النبوة على وجه الخصوص؛ وذلك كله وفق ما يرتسم من خلال النص الديني في كل ديانة. وهو يصف بعض وظائف النبوة بربطها بالاستعدادات المتناسبة معها، كما إنه يمكننا من استخلاص بعض الإرشادات – ولو من بعيد – للوظائف الدينية لدى الجنسين جميعاً. كما يحاول في الأخيرة أن يستنبط الأثر الديني لذلك.

The current article deals with the main important aspect of the religious phenomenon; which is "Prophecy" .Through this study we are trying to determine the holder’s gender of prophecy, in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. First of all we should define the concept of Prophecy in the three religions then , will the second step consists of adjusting properties of the prophecy; to show the relationship between them and the holder’ gender of the prophecy. Going through a methodological historical approach, by tracing the history of prophecy and prophets in the three monotheistic religions. As well as an analytical approach by searching the sources of properties of the prophecy and prophets; to recognize the most accurate components and differences; so that it Leeds to an urgent need to recruit deductive approach in linking the relationship to the differences between male and female, and between our findings with regard to the sex of the holder of prophecy.
