Background: Mania is obsession, compulsion, or exaggerated feeling which are severe enough to impair functioning or in some case require hospitalization. Manic episodes may be precipitated by stress, sleep deprivation, antidepressants, CNS stimulants, or bright light. Objectives: To evaluate the provided management of bipolar depression, mania, hypomania episode in Abd - Alaal Elidrisi hospital. Method: Adescriptive cross-sectional hospital based study, a total of 100 patients with bipolar disorder attending Abd-Alaal Elidrisi Hospital was enrolled in this study. The data were collected by using questionnaire from May 2017 to October 2017. That data were analyzed by using SPSS software. Result: There were 100 manic patient controlled in this study, the majority of cases were female (55%), while males were (45 %) Other different drug classes of manic medication were lithium, anticonvulsant and mostly atypical antipsychotic (AAP). Conclusion: The majority of patients were treated with Na valporate + olanzapine as combination, while others were treated by different combination of drugs.
