إن الرمز هو نتاج لعملية مستمرة من التراكم الثقافي، ومن سماته الجمالية أنه يقبل التفاعل مع التطورات الحضارية، فكل رمز له قيمته الفنية والجمالية، والدلالية، إن الرموز الشعبية المصرية عناصر متوارثة عبر مختلف العصور والحضارات والثقافات وهي تحمل بداخلها مدلولات سيكولوجية وإبداعية وتراثية وحضارية يتفهمها المصريين على اختلاف ثقافتهم ومعتقداتهم وانتماءاتهم الإيدلوجية، وتمتلك الرموز الشعبية المصرية قوي لا شعورية مؤثرة على الإنسان المصري لأنها رموز ابتكرها المصري بداية من العصر الفرعوني وابدع فيها، كما تأثر بها الفنان في العصر القبطي والإسلامي وظهر ذلك في منتجاتهم المتنوعة سواء المنسوجات، الحلي، التماثيل، الخشب، الجبس، الايقونات، ..... وغيرها. ويهدف البحث الحالي إلى دراسة بعض الرموز الشعبية المصرية المشتركة عبر الحضارات (المصرية القديمة – القبطية – الإسلامية) ومدلولاتها الرمزية، إثراء المعلقات المطرزة باستخدام بعض من هذه الرموز، والمحافظة على ثقافتنا وهويتنا المصرية الأصيلة من خلال توثيق الرموز الشعبية المصرية في معلقات مطرزة تحمل رموز الماضي وتساير الحاضر. ومن أهم نتائج هذا البحث إنه يمكن إثراء المعلقات المطرزة باستخدام الرموز الشعبية المصرية، إيجابية آراء المتخصصين للمعلقات المنفذة، وإن الرموز الشعبية تعد مصدر غني يمكن توظيفه لإثراء منتجاتنا المصرية وللتأكيد على هويتنا وثقافتنا، وإن هناك علاقة ارتباط وثيقة بين مدلول الرمز الشعبي في كل عصر من العصور (المصرية القديمة والقبطية والإسلامية) وبين المعتقد الديني للأفراد في هذا العصر.
Symbols are the outcome of cultural accumulation, and its aesthetic features accepted within the interactions with civilizational developments, as each symbol has its artistic, aesthetic, and semantic value. Inherited Egyptian folk symbols lived through different ages, civilizations and cultures. They carry within them psychological, creative, cultural and cultural heritage meanings that Egyptians understand in terms of their culture, beliefs and ideological affiliations. The Egyptian folk symbols have a strong and affective effect on the Egyptians because they are symbols invented and created by them, starting from the Ancient Egyptian era. They were also influenced by the artist in the Coptic and Islamic era and appeared in a variety of their products, whether textiles, ornaments, figurines, wood, gypsum, icons, etc. The current research aims to study some of the common Egyptian folk symbols through the ancient (Egyptian – Coptic - Islamic) eras and their symbolic meanings. In order to enrich the embroidered hangers using some of these symbols, to maintain Egyptian culture and identity by documenting the folk symbols in embroidered hangers studding historical symbols and adapting them to present values. Among the most important results of this research is that it is possible to enrich the embroidery using Egyptian folk symbols, a positive feedback of specialists in favor of the executed hangers. The folk symbols are rich sources in enriching Egyptian products and emphasize our identity and culture. There is a strong correlation between the meaning of the folk symbol in every era (Ancient Egyptian, Coptic and Islamic) and the religious belief of individuals in this era.
