أجريت هذه الدراسة في مركز البحوث الطبية بالزاوية للتحري عن البكتيريا الملوثة لمياه الشرب في بعض مراكز تحلية المياه بمدينة الزاوية وشملت الدراسة 16 عينة جمعت في الفترة ما بين شهر 10-12 من عام 2018. واستخدمت أوساط غذائية جاهزة وأخرى محضرة في المعمل لعزل أنواع مختلفة من البكتريا وتم التركيز على البكتيريا الممرضة ذات التأثيرات الصحية على الإنسان. حيث تم عزل بكتيريا Escherichia coli من العينة 12 وبكتيريا المكورات المسبحية من العينة 14و3 fecal streptococci من بعض العينات وهذا يعد مؤشرا على تلوث هذه المياه ودليلا قاطعا على أن المياه غير صالحة للشرب، بينما باقي العينات كانت خالية من التلوث الميكروبي وهذا يؤكد على أن هذه العينات صالحة للشرب وللاستهلاك البشري، وذلك لأن هذه المراكز استخدمت التعقيم بالأوزون والأشعة فوق البنفسجية التي لها القدرة الفائقة على الإضرار بالمادة الوراثية للميكروب بشكل يؤدي إلى فقدان قدرته على التكاثر والقضاء على أي ميكروب يتواجد في عينات المياه.
This study has been carried out in The Medical Research Center in Azawia City to investigate the bacteria that contaminates drinking water in some of the desalination centers in Azawia city and this study includes 16 samples that have been collected in a period of time between October and December of the year 2018. Ready media groups and other prepared have been used to isolate different kinds of bacteria, and it is focused on the pathogenic bacteria that has side effects on a human's health. In these centers they isolated Escherichia coli bacteria of sample 12, Staphylococcus pneumoniae bacteria of samples 3 and 14 and Fecal Streptococci bacteria of some other samples, this is an indication of the pollution of water and It is conclusive evidence that the water is not drinkable whereas the rest of the samples were free from microbial contamination. This confirms that these samples are drinkable and are valid for human consumption, and that is because of using Ozone and Ultraviolet sterilization in these center, which have a high capacity to damage the genetic material of the microbe in a way that leads it into losing its ability to reproduce and which eliminates any microbes that are present in the water samples.
