المستخلص: يكتسب مصطلحي التسامح والتعايش أهمية خاصة في الإسلام وأيضا في الحضارات الأخرى، ليس على مستوى المبادئ فحسب وإنما على مستوى التطبيق العملي، الذي يشهد به التاريخ ويقر بوجوده المفكرون من غير المسلمين: فالإسلام قد نص على التسامح مع مختلف الأديان كما جاء في عديد الآيات القرآنية والأحاديث النبوية الشريفة وفي تصرفات الحكام والقادة وأيضا سلوكيات عامة الناس وقت الشدة والرخاء وفي زمن السلم والحرب على السواء. والتسامح الديني بهذا المعنى مطلب إنساني نبيل، كونه القنطرة التي من خلالها يعبر الجميع إلى فضاء المحبة، الحوار والتواصل ويتحقق من خلاله التعايش السلمي بين المسلمين فيما بينهم وبين سائر البشر. وسنحاول من خلال هذا البحث الإجابة على الإشكالية التالية: إلى أي مدى يعتبر تفعيل مبدأ التسامح الديني في وقتنا الحاضر، المليء بالصراعات والنزاعات، آلية مهمة في ضمان تكريس لغة الحوار والتفاهم وتحقيق التعايش السلمي مجتمعيا وإنسانيا ونشر ثقافته وترسيخها؟

The terms tolerance and coexistence are of particular importance, not only at the level of principles but also in the practical application witnessed by history and acknowledged by non-Muslim thinkers: Rulers and leaders and also the behavior of the general public in times of distress and prosperity and in times of peace and war alike. Religious tolerance is a noble human demand, as it is the bridge through which everyone crosses into the space of love, dialogue and communication and through which peaceful coexistence is achieved between Muslims and between them and other human beings. We will try through this research to answer the following problem: To what extent is the activation of the principle of religious tolerance in the present day, full of conflicts and conflicts, an important mechanism in ensuring the consecration of the language of dialogue and understanding and achieve peaceful coexistence socially and humane and the dissemination and consolidation of its culture?
