Summary and Conclusion: Project objective: Design of pharmaceutical plant to produce (Tobramycin/Dexamethasone) and Latanoprost eye drops. The report results analysis showed that the proposed factory would be a great chance to self-sufficiency to pharmaceutical markets and health care in general as well as financial profitability. Nature of project activity: Techno-economic feasibility study of pharmaceutical plant for production of (Tobramycin/Dexamethasone) and Latanoprost eye drops, and assessment their real need. Method of analysis: Consumption method used to estimate the real need, demand projection, and supply-demand analysis. Capacity: • (Tobramycin/Dexamethasone) Ophthalmic suspension 2,000,000 units • Latanoprost ophthalmic solution 400,000 units -financial analysis of the proposed plant: Shift per day 8hrs/day Working days 253 days/year Working capital 86, 967 US$ Total capital investment 3,167,367 US$ Annual sale revenue 2,400,000 US$ Annual production cost 704,630 US$ Gross profit 1,695,370 US$ Rate of return of investment 54% Payback period 2 years (All calculations can be found in the appendices). |
