يلعب الاستفهام في الشعر دوراً كبيراً في إثارة المتلقي، وفتح حوار معه ربما لا ينتهي وإن انتهت القصيدة على الورق، فالشاعر يسأل لكنه لا يقدم جواباً، وهذا لا يعني أنه لا يفكر أو لا يعرف الإجابة بل العكس ربما، فإن كون الشعر سؤالا يعني أنه يترك أفق البحث والمعرفة مفتوحاً، وأنه لا يقدم يقيناً، فالسؤال هو الفكر، لأنه قلق وشك، أما الجواب فنوع من التوقف عن البحث والتدبر والتفكر، لأنه اطمئنان ويقين. فالسؤال إذن، هو الذي يدفع إلى مزيد من الفكر، وهنا تكمن أهمية (الاستفهام) في كونه المثير والمحفز للمتلقي والمؤثر فيه، وإن كل عمل إبداعي يتم توجيهه إلى متلق وإن أي أديب عندما يكتب يستحضر في وجدانه جمهورا ما ولو لم يكن إلا هو نفسه وهذا ما يفسر افتتاح قصائد عديدة من عيون الشعر العربي بخطاب رفـيقين كقوله: قِفا نبكِ من ذكرى حبيب وعرفانِ ورسم عفت آياتُه منذُ أزمان أما التركيب الاستفهامي في شعر ابن زيدون، فهو من أكثر التراكيب الأسلوبية حضوراً، فليس في ديوانه إلا بضع قصائد خلت من بنية الاستفهام، وتتنوع أساليب الاستفهام لا من حيث النوع فحسب، بل من حيث الامتداد والشمول والتكرار والاحتشاد، كل ذلك من أجل الخروج بهذه الوسائل إلى فضاءات دلالية مغايرة لما وضع له الاستفهام اصطلاحا. وقد كان الاستفهام يتصدر قصيدة ابن زيدون مجسداً حيرة البدء وقلق الاستهلال، وقد يتجلى في عمقها مبدياً تأزم الصراع وشدة العاطفة، وأحياناً يختم به قصيدته ليجعلها نهاية لا حد لها تستنفر المتلقي ليبحث لها عن أجوبة، وفي قصائد أخرى تتوالى الأسئلة حتى تستولي على بناء القصيدة محاولاً بها التأثير في المتلقي ومحاصرته لتشكل القصيدة معها رؤية للشاعر مليئة بالتوتر والحيرة، وتغدو معها القصيدة على طولها مجرد سؤال كبير ممتد.
Question Dialogue in Ibn Zaydoon’s Poetry Questioning in poetry induces excitement in the readers’ mind, and opens a conversation that could possibly never end, even when the poem ends on paper. The poet asks without providing an answer, and that does not mean that he is not thinking for an answer or that he does not have an answer but quite possibly the opposite. When a poem has a question it holds an uncertain answer that leaves the readers wondering for it. Questioning is wondering because it is a concern or a doubt, whereas an answer makes the reader stop wondering or thinking any further because it is a certainty. A question motivates the reader to think and wonder and search for an answer, and here lies the importance of questioning as it is the motive that influences the reader to think. Hence, every creative work is targeting an audience and when any writer, poet or author writes he evokes in his thoughts a certain group of audience even if it is no one but himself, this explains the opening of many Arabic poems with a dialogue of two friends. But the questioning structure in Ibn Zaydoon’s poems is one of the most frequent ways for structuring a question in a poet, he used this structure in nearly all his poems, and the methods differ not only in the type of questions, but also in the extension, intensity and even frequency of his questions. Ibn Zaydoon used his questioning methods as an opening to his poems implementing confusion of beginning and concern of initiation. He used questioning in the depth of a poem showing catastrophic coflicts and strong emotions. He also used them at the end of a poem making a poem an unlimited end that motivates the reader to search for answers. And in some of his poems the questions follow up one after another after another until they dominate the structure and the body of the poem trying to affect the reader and surround him with questions, forming with it a poet’s point of view full of intensity and confusion, and the poem becomes just a large extended question.
