|b This article studies the issue of building virtual communities through the use of online social networks, notably Facebook. By adopting the approach of Georges Herbert Mead, we analyze the genesis of a socio-political dynamic through the use of online social networks by Tunisian adult cyber-activists. This article is based on a qualitative survey, observation and interview which we conducted in 2013 and continued in 2017. The survey leads to the interference of the real and the virtual in the practices of the individuals, leading to the birth of a new public space: The cyber space. In this cyber space, virtual social links are woven and collective identities are constructed to defend actions and political positions.

|d Cet article étudie la question de la construction des communautés virtuelles à travers l’usage des réseaux sociaux en ligne, notamment de Facebook. En adoptant l’approche interactionniste de Georges Herbert Mead, nous analysons la genèse d’une dynamique socio-politique à travers l’usage des cyber-activistes adultes tunisiens des réseaux sociaux en ligne. Cet article, se fonde, par ailleurs, sur une enquête qualitative, par observation et par entretien, que nous avons fait en 2013 et reprise en 2017. L’enquête aboutit à l’interférence du réel et du virtuel dans les pratiques des individus, ce qui mène à la naissance d’un nouvel espace public: le cyber espace. Dans ce cyber espace des liens sociaux virtuels se tissent et des identités collectives se construisent pour défendre des actions et des positions politiques.
