Literary criticism has power over literary text; it is capable of examining it, decoding it, analyzing it and show the hidden meaning and declaring it. Critics are different according to their cultures, interests, attitudes and tendency toward different arts. Hence, found the 3 Iraqi critics who adopted technical approach in criticizing modern Iraqi poetry. They were distinguished among Iraqi critics because they were able to stand in line to analyze Iraqi poets. That is not a phenomenon since their books were in the hands of higher studies students (master and PhD degree). It is seldom to find a thesis that did not depend upon it. The research includes introduction, preface, and three chapters with conclusion. The preface deals with: ''the artistic criticism and its procedures. The first chapter is titled 'poetic language'. The nature of the topic divides it in to axes such as poetic dictionary ax, the ax of language performance levels, which are distributed in the poem among daily language performance, the performance of inherited language, easy language performance, and the level of repetition as a methodological phenomenon. The second chapter is titled 'poetic picture' which deals with the most important image shaping methods that the critics depend on such as 'simile, sensory perception, legendary symbol, and the mask'. The third chapter has come in titled 'Rhythm', which is divided in to three sections. The first section 'the external rhythm conditional selection'. The second section 'internal rhythm' and the third section 'rhythmic procedure. The research includes conclusion, which summarizes important results that are arrived to by the researcher.
