|a لقد شكلت مسالك الحج لدى علماء الغرب الإسلامي طريقا للدعوة والإصلاح ونشر الإسلام في كل أماكن انتقال ركب الحجاج. وتنشأ هذه الممارسة الدعوية من وعي أخلاقي وعقائدي وديني وأثبات الهوية الدينية الصحيحة بعيدا عن الخرافات والاتجاهات المذهبية العقدية المتطرفة. وكان من نتائج هذا الدور ازدياد عدد العلماء والدعاة في ترسيخ مهمة الأمر بالمعروف والّنهي عن المنكر عبر مسالك الحج إما سلميا أو بالقوة.

|b The pilgrimage routes of Islamic scholars of the Islamic West have been a way of calling, reforming and spreading Islam in all places where the pilgrims travel. This prophetic practice arises from moral, ideological and religious awareness and the identification of true religious identity away from superstitious doctrines and doctrinal tendencies. The result of this role was an increase in the number of scholars and preachers in establishing the task of promoting Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice through Hajj, either peacefully or by force.
