هدف البحث لمعرفة القنوات الفضائية التلفزيونية ودورها في التصدي لظاهرة الإرهاب، تمكين الفضائيات التلفزيونية من لعب دور إعلامي يسهم في معالجة ظاهرة الإرهاب، وذلك بإتباع المنهج الوصفي واستخدام أداتي الملاحظة، والاستبانة وصولا إلى بعض النتائج منها: القنوات العربية لا تتناول موضوع الإرهاب إلا من خلال نشراتها الإخبارية والبرامج الحوارية، ولا تحري بحوثا متعمقة لمعرفة آراء المشاهدين تجاه ظاهرة الإرهاب، وأن تطور هذه الظاهرة وانتشارها أكبر من قدراتها في التصدي له والتقليل من خطورته، أما الإعلام التلفزيوني الفضائي فيمتلك القدرة على الحد من ظاهرة الإرهاب إذا ما أحسن توظيفه علميا ومهنيا، وهنالك ضرورة ملحة لإطلاق فضائيات عربية متخصصة في موضوع الإرهاب. وبناءا على هذه النتائج قدمت الدراسة بعض التوصيات منها: ضرورة إدراج موضوع الإرهاب ضمن الخارطة البرامجية للفضائيات العربية مثله ومثل التعليم والثقافة والاقتصاد والترفيه وغيره من القضايا التي تخصص للتغطية، وأهمية تدريب كفاءات نوعية تعمل على الإعداد والتقدم لمثل هذه البرامج بأسلوب يجمع ما بين الدين وعلم النفس والمنطق لمخاطبة المستهدفين بهذه البرامج والتأثير عليهم وإقناعهم، والقيام بالزيارات الميدانية لأماكن الجماعات الإرهابية في معاقلهم للتأثير عليهم ودفعهم للحد من ذلك، والتنسيق والتعاون ما بين القنوات الفضائية العربية والمنظمات الإنسانية للتصدي لظاهرة الإرهاب.
Satellite TV is considered as strongest media influence on the audience. This advantage appeared in various fields but did not affect the reduction of terrorism. This was the most important reasons in the researcher's choice of this subject to achieve some of the goals, including: Enabling satellite TV to play a media role contributes to the treatment of the phenomenon of terrorism, and follow the descriptive approach and the tools used are observation and questionnaire, and reached to some of results, including: Arab channels do not deal with terrorism only through their news casts and talk shows, and do not conduct in-depth research to know the views of viewers about the phenomenon of terrorism, the development of this phenomenon and its spread is greater than its capabilities in addressing it and reducing its dangers, Satellite television has the ability to reduce the phenomenon of terrorism if it is best exploited scientifically and professionally, and there is an urgent need to launch Arab satellite channels specialized in the subject of terrorism. Based on these findings, the study presented some recommendations, including: The need to include the subject of terrorism in the program map of the Arab satellite channels such as education, culture, economy, entertainment and other issues that are devoted to coverage, and the importance of training quality competencies in preparing and presenting such programs in a way that combines religion, psychology and logic To address the audience of these programs and influence them and convince them, and to conduct field visits to places of terrorist groups in their strongholds to influence them and push them to limit it, and coordination and cooperation between Arab satellite channels and humanitarian organizations To address the phenomenon of terrorism.
