المستخلص: The literature of messages is one of the important sources of modern and contemporary Arabic literature; As The messages exchanged between the writers bear many of the Features and characteristics of the literature of the writer or poet, and the literature of the messages under the so-called self-literature such as Diaries, memoirs, thoughts and biography that draw the attention of researchers. The reason for the selection of Altwaijri messages for study: firstly is the big attention the writer has given to the messages literature till it occupied most of his left writings, and then the content and style that has characterized Altwaijri, which is classified within the so-called “the desert literature". These messages are divided into two parts: his messages to his son, which are one-sided messages sent by the sheikh to his son. Those were contained in three books and the general messages, which are addressed to Politicians, intellectuals and writers, three books as well. The study was divided according to the data of the content and the method of Altwaijri, all inspired and derived from the desert environment. One of the most important method appeared in this four sections are: animation, cosmic & self-questions, repetition, imagined dialogue. The Study Methodology is formed through the critical view of the discourse in the ancient heritage together with what characterizes the discourse in modern Western criticism, as reflected in the message discourse of the author.

يعد أدب الرسائل من الروافد المهمة في الأدب العربي الحديث والمعاصر؛ فالرسائل المتبادلة بين الأدباء تحمل في طياتها كثيرا من السمات والخصائص المميزة لأدب الكاتب أو الشاعر، وأدب الرسائل يدخل تحت ما يعرف بالأدب الذاتي كاليوميات والمذكرات والخواطر والسيرة الذاتية التي تسترعي اهتمام الباحثين. وسبب اختيار رسائل التويجري للدراسة أولا هو اهتمام الكاتب الكبير بأدب الرسائل حتى احتلت معظم ما تركه من مؤلفات، ثم المضمون والأسلوب الذي تميز به التويجري والذي يصنف ضمن ما عرف بـ "أدب الصحراء". وهذه الرسائل تنقسم إلى قسمين: رسائله إلى ولده وهي رسائل من طرف واحد يبعث بها الشيخ إلى ولده، وقد جاءت في ثلاثة كتب، والرسائل العامة وهي رسائل موجهة إلى رجال السياسة والفكر والأدب، وهي ثلاثة كتب كذلك. وقسمت الدراسة بحسب ما رصدته من معطيات المضمون والأسلوب التويجري، وكلها مستلهمة ومستمدة من بيئة الصحراء. وكان من أهم ما ظهر في هذا الأسلوب أربعة أقسام هي: الصور المتحركة، التساؤلات الكونية وتساؤلات النفس، التكرار، الحوار المتخيل. أما منهج الدراسة فهو المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لمضامين هذه الرسائل.
