يتناول البحث دراسة مداخل تجريبية جديدة لإثراء اللوحة الزخرفية مما يساعد في الخروج من النمط التقليدي للشبكات لإنتاج صياغات جديدة مما يساعد على صياغة اللوحات الزخرفية بمعالجات بنائية مستحدثة لابتكار حلول لتصميمات جديدة وفق " قوانين الطبيعة لنظرية المديول وهو حدة بناء الشكل وتستخدم في بناء الشبكات وفق انظمة تتسم بالدقة فهو فن يستخدم الاعداد المنسقة المبنية على الرياضيات لتكوين ابداعات تصميمية" (1:ص25)، وهنا تكمن مشكلة البحث في كيفية الاستفادة من تلك النظريات وخاصة في مجال التصميم الزخرفي ويتضح ذلك في أعمال فنانين ما بعد الحداثة وتتحدد النظم البنائية القائمة على المديول كمصدر يثري اللوحة الزخرفية بالقيم الفنية والجمالية ويتحدد سؤال البحث في التساؤل التالي ما مدى إمكانية استخلاص صياغات تصميمية جديدة مبنية على النظام البنائي لنظرية (المديول) لابتكار حلول لشبكات تصميمية جديدة لإثراء اللوحة الزخرفية؟ ولذا يهدف البحث الوصول إلى مدخل جديد يسهم في تحقيق القيم الفنية من خلال الصيغ البنائية للمديول، ويفترض البحث ما امكانية استفادة المصمم من إنتاج صيغ وحلول متعددة في مجال التصميم الزخرفي، وتتحدد نتيجة البحث في استخلاص صياغات تصميمية جديدة مبنية على النظام البنائي لنظرية (المديول) لابتكار حلول لشبكات تصميمية جديدة قائمة على الوحدة التناسبية لإثراء مجال التصميم.
