|a The purpose of the study is to investigate the subject of risk allocation as the critical factor for the success of Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects. Extensive literature review that analyses the various aspects of PPP projects and a questionnaire survey was carried upon the selected sample of respondents’ i.e. employees and managers of the top level companies interacting with PPP projects so that the aims and objectives of the study can be achieved. A questionnaire was sent to a sample of interactive employee with PPP projects. The questionnaire was based on likert scale and the response rate was 100% of all participants. The results were analyzed to assess the potential of PPP projects risk allocation system so that it can be successfully implemented as per the economy of Kuwait. This study was concentrated on the area of PPP projects in Kuwait and the conclusion for this study has been based on the survey done upon the selected respondents. Thus, the results can be applied upon the further success of the PPP projects. Apart from risk allocation, this study also concentrates on the key dimensions such as political interference, legal framework of PPP and the divergent of objectives. This study will also provide necessary recommendations for the areas that need extensive improvement for the achievement of the international benchmark.
