|f Work is at the heart of human life; it has undergone tremendous changes that have affected societies, perceptions of it as human activity has changed. Thus, the study tried to define the concept through students' opinions and their representations of the work. The study adopted a description and understanding approach, based on a form. Its questions included many dimensions that are not only related to work as an activity, but also tried to focus on two fundamental dimensions: economic and social. As explained in the body of this study presentation, the interviewees are not about work as an end but rather about the relationship of work with the future of the individual in society.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018

|a يقع العمل في صلب الحياة الإنسانية، يعرف تغيرات بجمة أثرت على المجتمعات، التصورات إزاءه كنشاط بشري تغيرت. وعليه فالدراسة حاولت تحديد المفهوم من خلال آراء الطلبة وتمثلاتهم للعمل. اعتمدت الدراسة مقاربة الوصف والفهم، مستندة على استمارة. تضمنت أسئلتها أبعادا كثيرة لا ترتبط بالعمل كنشاط فحسب بل حاولت التركيز على بعدين أساسين الأول اقتصادي واجتماعي، ومثلما هو موضح في متن هذا العرض للدراسة، المبحوثين تمثلاتهم لا تنصب حول العمل كغاية بل تعدته إلى علاقة العمل بمستقبل الفرد في المجتمع.

|d Le travail est au coeur de la vie humaine. Cependant, tributaire des divers changements affectant la société, sa conception n’est pas constante. S’étant proposé d’examiner cette notion a travers des avis des étudiants, la présente étude s’est fixé comme objet de faire une lecture dans l’univers représentationnel de ces derniers. Adoptant une méthode compréhensive mais en même temps de description, avec un questionnaire (questions ouvertes, ce qui s’apparente à un entretien), l’enquête a permis de révéler les plus en vue des éléments liés à l’objet travail, tout en en privilégiant deux qui relèvent de deux dimensions, sociale et économique. Sinon, quoique les enquêtés ne connaissent pas de plus près le travail, ils ont touché à des dimensions diverses.
