يتناول البحث مقدمة عن فن النحت المصري القديم حيث سماته ومميزاته وأنواعه ثم دراسة تحليلية مقارنه لأعمال النحات الروسي المعاصر (فلاديمير تى سيفين) وهو من مواليد منتصف القرن العشرين والتي ظهر في أعماله تأثره الواضح بأعمال النحت المصري القديم، وقامت الباحثة بإخضاع نماذج منتقاة من أعمال النحات للوصف والتحليل من الناحية الشكلية ومقارنتها ببعض المنحوتات المصرية القديمة التي وجدت الباحثة أن لها التأثير القوي على أعمال الفنان فلاديمير تى سفن. يمكن صياغة مشكلة البحث في التساؤل التالي: • ما هو أثر النحت المصري القديم على أعمال النحات فيلاديمير؟ يهدف البحث إلى: التعرف على أثر النحت المصري القديم على أعمال النحات فيلاديمير. أهمية البحث: يؤكد على أهمية التراث المصري وأثره على الفكر التصميمي لأعمال النحات الروسي فلاديمير تي سيفين.
