|a تعد الرسوم الجدارية من أهم الفنون القديمة التي تنقل لنا ثقافة الحضارات السابقة وفكرها، فهي سجل تاريخي يوثق فيه الإنسان القديم حياته اليومية من جميع الجوانب، سواء اجتماعية، أو اقتصادية، أو عقائدية. هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن دلالات رسوم التصوير الجداري بموقع الفاو، من خلال الوصف والتحليل الفني الذي تناول: أسلوب رسوم الفترة، المفردات الزخرفية ودلالتها، اللون ودلالته. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج التاريخي الوصفي التحليلي؛ لكشف عن هذه الدلالات وتحليلها؛ للوصول إلى نتائج مرتبطة بأهداف البحث. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج، أبرزها: ارتباط الصياغات التشكيلية بالفكر والمعتقدات الدينية السائدة في المنطقة، تأثر جداريات الفاو بالفنون الهيلنستية وفنون الحضارات المجاورة، كما يظهر تأثرها بمدارس الفن الشمالي الواقعة تحت التأثير الهيلنستي. الثراء اللوني محدود في الجداريات؛ حيث إن الألوان الشائع استخدامها هي الأصفر، والأحمر، والأحمر الترابي، والأسود، والأبيض. وعلى إثر نتائج الدراسة توصلت الدارسة الحالية إلى مجموعة من التوصيات، أهمها: إن ظهور ملامح بيزنطية في الشكل الآدمي بإحدى اللوحات يستدعي دراسة تأثر الحضارة البيزنطية برسوم الجزيرة العربية.

|b Murals are one of the most important ancient arts that convey to us the culture and thought of ancient civilizations. It is a historical record which the ancient human documents his everyday life from all aspects whether social, economic or ideological. This study aims to illustrate indications of the murals in the site of Al Faw, through the description and technical analysis, which dealt with period style of drawings, ornament and its indications, color and its indication. The study used the historical descriptive analytical method to detect and analyze these indications to reach results that related to the research objectives. The study found several results: The link of Morphogenesis forms to current religons believes and thinking in the region. Most notably is that Al Faw murals were influenced by Hellenistic art and the arts of neighboring civilizations as well as apparently shows that the schools of northern art under Hellenistic influence influenced them. However, color richness is limited in murals where the common colors are yellow, red, terracotta, black, and white Based on the results, the present study reached a set of recommendations the most important of which are: The appearance of Byzantine features in the human form in one of the paintings calls for studying the influence of Byzantine civilization on the drawings of the Arabian Peninsula.
