المستخلص: يقترح هذا البحث دراسة مقارنة حول موضوع العجائبي أو الغرائبي في ثلاث نصوص جوهرية من الأدب العالمي: أنشودة رولان وقصة تريستنا وايزوت وسيرة عنترة بن شداد الملحمة العربية التي لم تترجم أبدا كاملة إلى اللغة الفرنسية. وقد قسمت البحث إلى ثلاثة أجزاء آخذين بعين الاعتبار تطورات النقد فيما يتعلق بدراسات الأساطير "mythocritique" وتحليل " mythocritique" ونبين ما تباه النسيج السردي من أساطير وكيف استخدمها. سنحاول في الجزء الأول اكتشاف الأشكال المختلفة للعجائبي ووظائفها في النصوص: السحر، الشعوذة، المعجزات إلخ. أما في الجزء الثاني فسوف نقوم بدراسة الأهداف المرجوة من هذا النوع من المواضيع في النسيج السردي، ونبين تشابه هذه المواضيع في نصوص عالمية في العصور الوسطى الأوروبية والعربية، وفي الجزء الثالث نبين أن هذه المواضيع ترتبط ارتباطا وثيقا بالأديان سواء كانت المسيحية أو الإسلام أو الديانات الوثنية الموجودة في هذه النصوص.

This article proposes a comparative analysis of the theme of the marvelous in three masterpieces of international literature: the Song of Roland, Tristan and Iseut and Antar's Epic, an Arabic epic never translated into French in its entirety. According to a tripartite plan, and taking into account theories of mythocriticism, the paper first explores the different forms and functions of the marvelous: magic, witchcraft, miracles... Then it analyzes their subject in the narrative economy and later accounts for the flagrant analogies of this medieval corpus. It also shows the inextricable links between the marvelous and Christian and Muslim religions present in the corpus.

Cet article propose un parcours comparatiste autour de la thématique du merveilleux dans trois oeuvres clefs de la littérature internationale: la Chanson de Roland, Tristan et Iseut et le Récit d’Antar, une épopée arabe jamais traduite en français dans son intégralité. Selon un plan tripartite tenant compte des avancées de la mythocritique et de la mythanalyse, il explore d’abord les différentes formes et fonctions du merveilleux: magie, sorcellerie, miracles… Il analyse ensuite leur objet dans l’économie narrative puis rend compte des analogies flagrantes de ce corpus médiéval. Il montre également les liens inextricables avec les religions chrétienne et musulmane en présence dans le corpus.
