|a The proposal consisted of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion in which the researcher explained the most important results. The first chapter is entitled "A1-Najaf A1-Ashraf and the bases of the cognitive and intellectual formations of Mohammed Baqir A1-Hakim"; it includes four topics:- the first one talked the intellectual and cultural status of A1-Najaf A1-Ashraf, highlighted its importance of the city on the religious, scientific and cultural levels as well as to the most important factors that helped to flourish the scientific movement in the city. The second topic dealt with Mohammed Baqir A1-Hakim's birth, rise, study, in the formal public schools and in A1-Hawza, referring to e effect of the family on his scientific and social directions, and his masters and his talent that helped him to obtain the degree of (A-Ijtihad) in his early age in addition to many other relative points. In the third topic, the researcher exhibited the attitudes of A1-Hawza to face the political and intellectual developments in Iraq (1945-1980) which witnessed political and intellectual conflicts among religious and, left wings and national currents. The political movements and activities of Mohammed Baqir Al- Hakim in the first decade of 20th century was discussed in the fourth topic of this research, in addition to his emigration and leading the Islamic activity till his martyrdom in 2003. In second chapter, the researcher discussed (the Historical narration (a resource, a criticism and a concept) in the visions of Mohammed Baqir AL-Hakim) by studying and analyzing his Intellectual production in the first topic starting with what did Mohammed Baqir A1-Hakim wrote in the Iraqi and Islamic magazines, highlighted samples of his articles from the interpretive, historical, social reform, political concept, Also the researcher mentioned some of Mohammed Baqir AI- Hakims written book with reference to the literatures and references from which he quoted the in formation and the Intellectual vision of Mohammed Baqir AI- Hakim , then He mentioned the methodology of Mohammed Baqir AI-Hakim in studying history, criticizing and analyzing the historical novels, after that the researcher talked Mohammed Baqir A1-Hakims understanding of the history in addition to the researcher's efforts detect the laws and the methods affecting the tide of history. (The aims of investing the narration and the historical texts in the thought of Mohammed Baqir A1-Hakim) is the title of the third chapter where the researcher discussed Mohammed Baqir A1-Hakim's way in explaining and spreading his point of view, in addition to his Intellectual arguments depending on using the texts of the Islamic history and the history of Iraq to clarify the goals and the reformist ideas he believe in, so he concentrated on his using of the historical text in the ideological and the Religious preaching aspect, then the researcher talked about Mohammed Baqir A1-Hakim's political thoughts and how he employed the historical text and novel to clarify his Reformist ideas in the political aspect, then finally the researcher mentioned how Mohammed Baqir-AL-Hakim employed the historical text and novel to clarify his ideas in the Islamic economics. Mohammed Baqir A1-Hakim was affected so far by the environment he lived and grew up in, he rose in Arab origin family lived in the city of AL-Najaf,

|a thus he was affected by his family's religious and scientific state which led him to study the religious studies so by his family's religious so his family supported him till he obtained the Ijtihad degree in Quran Sciences, and his life was contemporary with the events in Iraq during 50s the 20th century , also he Inspected closely the Hawza attitude in facing the expatriate Intellectual parties that conflict Islam like Communism and Socialism in addition to their attitude toward governments which adapted ideologies and policies conflict the Islamic Sharia and its circumstances so all these factors affected directly Mohammed Baqir A1-Hakim's personality especially because He participated and because his life was Contemporary with most of the events. The he took over the leadership of the Islamic movement for more than 20 years (1980-2003), he believed that the armed struggle is the best way to resolve the problem of the tyrannical regime in Iraq, he was calling for democratic, unified Iraq and taking into account the rights of all its citizens without discrimination and the people to elected their representative freely in accordance with national constitution which based on the true Islamic Sharia, moreover he left a various scientific production, because he wrote in different domains of knowledge in addition to his works in religion, sociology, and politics in addition to a number of articles and researches that was written in many of Iraqi, Arab and Islamic magazines, also he depends on the original sources of the Islamic heritage so he was known by objectivity in dealing with the sources of the information that he quote anything from, depending on scientific approach in his writings , he was analyzing and criticizing what he write without using sheer historical narrative, he focused on the historical writings to address the historical issues in analytical criticism simple way which is easier for the average reader, also he explained accurately the effective factors in the movement of the history be events. He also used the historical text and employed it to serve religious and historical theses and writings thus he highlighted the social and the political aspect through them by outstanding the importance of religion in the practical aspect and its reflection on individual behavior in the social life, also he used the historical text and novel to explain his thoughts in the Social reform as mentioned earlier so he resolved through them important social issues which the modern Islamic societies is suffering from it also these issues focused on the individual and the society as well, also he used the historical texts to explain his political theses and thoughts which emphasized on the political aspect due to its effects on individual and society, in addition to that he highlighted on important issues like the political freedom, the notion of revolution, the role of the nation and its relationship between the leadership. He used the historical texts to employ it in the Islamic economics aspect which considered as a part of general Islamic system, and he explained the reasons of the economic deterioration state of the Islamic societies in the modern history which he said that they are because of complacency or turning away from implement the principles of the true Islamic religion especially in the economic aspect.
