المستخلص: The reservoir comprises mainly shallow marine and fluvatile clastic sediments belonging to the Middle Ordovician, Hawaz Formation. The structure is a Hawaz remnant paleo high formed by Late Ordovician glacial erosion which has carved out glacial valleys. The remnant Hawazpaleo-highs preferentially follow basement fault lineaments. They pass up into the Tannezuftshales which cover the structure acting as reservoir seal. Slips and slumps occured on the flanks of the Hawazpaleohigh. These are likely to have been caused by the retreating glacial ice-sheets. The source rock in the study Area was Tanezzuft Shale Formation of Lower Silurian, as well as the cap rock in the study area. The sandstones of the Hawaz Formation are predominantly quartz arenites and subarkosicarenites, with sublithic, in petrophysecis study the reservoir has been divided into eight zone (H1.H2,H3,H4,H5,H6,H7,H8) according with change of lithology, rock properties, hydrocarbon reserves and mineralogy Using the soft ware(log interpretations),The petrophysical study of Hawaz reservoir indicates average porosity ranged from 14% to 17 %, average water saturation from 30 % to 40 %, net pay thickness of 202 ft, The Initial Oil In place is 394.2 MMSTB. and Oil recoverable is 100 MMSTB,
