The linguistic approaches in the interpretation of Al-Fatiha sura is an attempt to uncover the similarities and differences, the accord and discord between the texts of the interpreters who interpreted Al-Fatiha sura, and the texts of the linguists and interpreters regarding common issues, which was essential for the linguistic research and also between the interpreters' texts and the views of modern linguists, in case there is any significance in the modern linguistic concept. The research includes an introduction and three chapters. The introduction shows the meaning of the term "approach" in language and in terminology by depending on lexicons and books of terminologies. Also, the term "approach" is observed in linguistic use and in ancients studies which used this term in linguistic studies. The first chapter entitled by (Phonic and Morphological Approaches in the Interpretation of Al-Fatiha sura). The chapter tackles the phonic issues as (relative hamza, assimilation, the meeting of two consonants), while the morphological side discusses (derivation and vowel). The second chapter is dedicated to show the structural approaches in the interpretation of Al-Fatiha sura, as (structural interpretation), which includes: Deletion and supposition, anaphoric and cataphoric. It also handles the issue of (grammatical function and referent) as a concept and an application for the interpreters. Also, it tackles the issue of (Quranic recitations and the parsing referent for the interpreter), which we point out the problem of the freedom of choosing the referent, which leads to get the equivalent meaning as to what the interpreter sees according to his reference. The third chapter discusses the semantic approaches in the interpretation of Al-Fatiha sura, which include (phonic, morphological. Grammatical and lexical) approaches in reference to semantics. Also, this chapter tackles (meaning and semantics) and (noun, nominated and the relationship between them).
