|a في فترة انطلاق الثورة تمثلت المصادر الداخلية للتسليح بناحية تبسة في تبرعات أفراد الشعب، أسلحة الجنود الفارين من الجيش الفرنسي، الغنائم، مثل غنائم كمين قنتيس ماي 1955، ومعركة الجرف سبتمبر 1955، بعد انتشار الثورة ولزيادة عدد المجندين برزت مشكل نقص الأسلحة بشكل خطير، مما دفع بقادة الثورة إلى البحث عن مصادر خارجية، ولقد تمكن بن بلة بصفته المكلف بالإمداد على مستوى الحدود الشرقية من إرسال عدة شحنات من الأسلحة من ميناء الإسكندرية إلى موانئ ليبيا وتونس في الفترة من ديسمبر 1954 إلى سبتمبر 1956، كما تمكن قادة ناحية تبسة من القيام بعدة مبادرات حصلوا من خلالها على كميات من الأسلحة مكنتهم من الاستمرار في كفاحهم المسلح.

|f Donations made by the people were the internal sources of armament in Tébessa province, at the beginning of the revolution, in addition to the weapons of soldiers fleeing the French army and spoils (such as the spoils of the ambush of Qantis May 1955 and the battle of the al-Jurf of September 1955). Following the spread of the revolution and the increase in the number of recruits, there emerged a serious problem of shortage of weapons, which prompted the leadership of the revolution to look for external sources. In his capacity as supplying in charge at the level of the eastern border, Ben Bala was able to send several shipments of arms from the port of Alexandria to the ports of Libya and Tunisia from December 1954 to September 1956.
