المستخلص: This study aims to highlight the role of constitutional oversight in Algeria as one of the restrictions imposed on the work of Parliament, especially in the legislative aspect based on the origins of the formation of the Constitutional Council in France in the 1958 Constitution, which aimed at rationalizing parliamentary activity, and on the basis of questioning the impartiality of the Algerian Constitutional Council in its composition and action.
