|b This study deals with a famous incident in the biography of the Prophet -peace and prayer be upon him- before his mission, which is his travelling with his uncle Abo Talib to Alsham, and meeting the monk Bahirra, and how the story was narrated by both the tellers and the traditionists, and then to showing the differences between the two approaches, and how some of Hadith critics weakened that Hadith because of one its narrators. And since Imam Al-Bukhaari has already written a correct Hadith for this narrator in his Book, the talking about the issue of Hadith’s validity of the talk that the narrator is one of the Al-Bukhari or Moslim’s narrators. The study also focused on highlighting the criticism of some of the examining scholars of Hadith through its text of tradition, so do some modern scholars. the study reach at the end that the weakening of the previous tradition does not mean denying the story completely, thus, some details in the story of travel is not true, but travel is a reality.

|a تتناول هذه الدراسة حادثة مشهورة في سيرة النبي – صلى الله عليه وسلم – قبل بعثته، وهي سفرة مع عمه أبي طالب إلى الشام، ولقائه بحيرا الراهب، وكيف سرد الواقعة كل من الإخباريين والمحدثين، ومن ثم بيان أوجه الاختلاف بين المنهجين، وكيف أن بعض نقاد الحديث وهنوا الحديث بسبب راو دار عليه سند الحديث. ولأن هذا الراوي قد أخرج له الإمام البخاري حديثا في صحيحه، كان الكلام عن قضية القول بصحة الحديث بكون الراوي من رجال البخاري أو مسلم. كما اهتمت الدراسة بإبراز نقد بعض العلماء المحققين للحديث من خلال متنه، وكذلك فعل بعض العلماء المعاصرين. لتصل الدراسة في الأخير إلى أن تضعيف الحديث لا يعني إنكار القصة بالأساس، فبعض التفصيلات في قصة السفر هي المنكرة، ولكن السفر واقع.
