المستخلص: The current study aims at defining the concept of terrorism among university students, analyzing the effects of the phenomenon of terrorism, and finding practical mechanisms to combat this phenomenon from the point of view of the university student. It raises the hypothesis that there are statistically significant differences among students regarding the concept of terrorism according to the variable of specialization, or the variable of religion. Are there statistically significant differences between the frequency of the sample responses with regard to counter-terrorism measures? To ascertain the validity of the hypotheses, the study follows a descriptive and comparative approach. The sample is random with a quota of 200 random samples of the students of the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University are Muslims and Christians in various scientific and literary disciplines. And the hypotheses were tested and reached the results, the most important: The frequency and percentages of the responses of the research sample on the concept of terrorism indicate that terrorism means the wrong understanding of religion and extremism. The first reason behind the emergence of the phenomenon of terrorism is the religious cause and intolerance that fights diversity and pluralism does not recognize the other existence and vision. All religions came to the happiness and security and prosperity and justice between them, It is a significant proportion of the great difference between Jihad and terrorism, which in turn transfers them from the tandem relationship that terrorists are keen to stick to the relationship of antagonism. Jihad is legitimate for a legitimate goal, while terrorism is illegal and its means are to kill lives, attack property and destabilize society. Confronting terrorism requires a combination of community institutions and members of society in all categories to confront and eliminate the phenomenon of terrorism as a problem that affects the security of the individual and society.

تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى تحديد مفهوم الإرهاب لدى الطالب الجامعي وتحليل آثار ظاهرة الارهاب واستنتاج آليات عملية لمكافحة هذه الظاهرة من وجهة نظر الطالب الجامعي وتثير فرضاً هل توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الطلبة فيما يتعلق بمفهوم الإرهاب وفقاً لمتغير التخصص أو متغير الدين، وهل يوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين تكرارات استجابات العينة فيما يتعلق بتدابير مكافحة الإرهاب. وللتأكد من صلاحية الفروض تتبع الدراسة منهج وصفي ومقارن والعينة عمدية بالحصة عددها 200 عينة عشوائية من طلاب وطالبات كلية التربية جامعة عين شمس مسلمين ومسيحيين في مختلف التخصصات العلمية والأدبية، وقد تم اختبار الفروض والوصول للنتائج التي من أهمها: تشير التكرارات والنسب المئوية لاستجابات عينة البحث حول مفهوم الإرهاب أن الإرهاب يعنى الفهم الخاطئ للدين والغلو والتشدد فالسبب الأول وراء بروز ظاهرة الإرهاب هو السبب الديني والتعصب الذى يحارب التنوع والتعدد ولا يعترف بالآخر وجوداً ورأياً وحقاً فجميع الديانات جاءت لسعادة البشر وأمنهم ورخائهم وتحقيق العدالة فيما بينهم، وهى نسبة دالة على الفارق الكبير بين الجهاد والإرهاب والذى بدوره ينقلهما من علاقة الترادف التي يحرص الإرهابيون على إلصاقها بهما إلى علاقة التضاد، فالجهاد أمر مشروع لهدفٍ مشروع بينما الإرهاب أمر غير مشروع وسيلته إزهاق الأرواح والاعتداء على الممتلكات وزعزعة أمن المجتمع. إن مواجهة الإرهاب تتطلب تضافر المؤسسات المجتمعية وأفراد المجتمع بكافة فئاته لمواجهة ظاهرة الإرهاب والقضاء عليها من جذورها باعتبارها مشكلة تمس أمن الفرد والمجتمع
