This study attempts to introduce the living conditions in Qassim during the activity period of Aloqilat trade, from which we could have a perception about the motives of such commercial trips and the main geographical axes pursued. This study also aims to reach the most prominent geographical challenges faced by these trips. This study has not ignored to highlight the impact of Aloqilat on the life in Qassim. The study is significant because it is economic geographical. The trips began due to the poor resources in the desert environment, and they were suspended due to the discovery of oil, which has resulted in using transport means other than camels. The study has growing value, because, there is no other research that has dealt with the study of Aloqilat trips. This study is confined only to the traders of Qassim from (Aloqilat). It is also further delimited to the areas penetrated by commercial ways. It is also confined to the global commercial exchange, not the local commercial activity. These trips date back to 250 years starting from 1120 AH to 1370 AH. The study problem is the necessity required to revive the economic life in Qassim with its poor resources through creating a commercial influence and a vital field in the regional surrounding. To reach valid scientific results, the researcher has taken advantage of several approaches, including the historical approach to follow the development of (Aloqilat trips) and descriptive approach to know its geographical ways. The conclusion of the study is that the agriculture in Qassim at this period was not encouraging due to the high costs. The geographical distribution of water resources controlled completely the path of trips and feasibility and attractiveness of foreign markets. The climatic and natural conditions were an obstacle in the way of Aloqilat convoys. The study draws to a close with several recommendations one of which is that the National Tourism Authority should seek to establish a national body concerned with the heritage of Aloqilat. The competent persons should shed light on scientific other than the historical and geographical aspects in the life of Aloqilat, which have not been studied yet. Furthermore, we should have a serious interest in translating scientific materials about Aloqilat into English, accessible to non-Arab researchers and tourists.
