المستخلص: The Gulf of Guinea has become a destination for many oil companies as it occupies a geo-strategic position in the Western strategic thought because of its vast oil reserves. Despite its disregard for the region in recent years, the United States has managed the compass towards it, European and Chinese, and to increase tensions in the Middle East. The coast of the Gulf of Guinea has thus become an area of international conflict. In light of the fragile conditions and conditions that characterize the African nation in general, the United States has provided a range of assistance in the form of cooperative programs based on the idea of partnership, but apparently do not fall outside the framework of conditionality, which primarily serves US interests and leads to achieving oil security. Therefore, the US presence in the Gulf of Guinea and the combination of political, economic and military strategies are part of the US national energy strategy, which is based on the idea that interests do not recognize borders and distances as long as tools and means exist, which reflects the desire of the United States of America to shift from the stage of leadership to the stage of global management, to maintain hegemony and to give way to a competitive power.
