|b The city of Timbuktu, with its Islamic culture and history of civilization, was inhabited and prosperous. Arabic was the language of its cultural and educational fields, and it was used in commercial and social transactions. Timbuktu was well developed in the dissemination of knowledge and education, so it became a cultural city in the sub-Saharan region. Having had a high degree of cultural prosperity, Timbuktu was almost comparable to the major Islamic cities in North Africa and the contemporary Islamic Levant. The city of Timbuktu had witnessed the migration of large numbers of Easterners, North Africans and Southerners Muslims. That resulted in the creation of a mixed and hybrid population ensuring cohesion. Its wide spread reputation left a clear and strong mark in the region. The city of Timbuktu influenced the cultural and social life of people in all its aspects. It permitted to create a new society with civilized values, rituals and principles. This participation of cultural elements had played a prominent and distinctive role in the development and prosperity of Timbuktu, especially the dissemination of the Arabic language through its efforts and scientific output. It then prepared generations of emerging sciences to campaign and work to spread them throughout the successive ages to the present time. This is an important pillar of the Arabic language. It is a glimmer of hope for a better and more unrestrained future in the face of various problems and complex challenges through good signs of optimism for a promising future for the language. This was mainly due to the Arabic language of the Holy Quran, and its expansion in the whole of Timbuktu and its influence on the entire African continent
