المستخلص: تشكل مسألة العلاقة مع الآخر قضية مركزية في الوعي العربي؛ إذ مثل المسار التاريخي للعلاقات الحضارية بين الشرق والغرب عاملاً حاسماً من عوامل رسم حدود تلك العلاقة وتحديد ملامحها ومنعطفاتها عبر المراحل التاريخية المختلفة، وقد حظيت تلك القضية باهتمام بالغ من المفكرين والأدباء العرب؛ لتطرح نفسها بوصفها إشكالية فكرية وأدبية، حاولت الذات العربية التعامل معها بواسطة مرجعيات ثقافية وفكرية وتقاليد أدبية مختلفة، كان للخطاب الروائي الجرأة الأكبر في التعبير عنها. يروم هذا البحث دراسة العلاقة بين الذات والآخر كما عبرت عنها رواية (أول حب آخر حب) للروائية ماري رشو، كما ينشد الوقوف على الإشكاليات المختلفة التي تعترض العربي في المجتمع الأمريكي كقضية الاندماج في المجتمع، وخصوصاً فيما يتصل بالإشكال الناتج عن اختلاف القيم والتقاليد والعادات الاجتماعية بين الشرق والغرب، فضلاً عن العلاقة مع المرأة الغربية، والاغتراب، وسرد الذات وإشكالية الهوية، ودور المكان في رسم الحدود بين الذات والآخر. يتبع البحث المنهج المقارن الذي يشتغل وفق آليات التحليل والمقارنة، كما يفيد من تقنيات تحليل السرد الروائي مثل الزمان والمكان والشخصيات.

The issue of relationship with the other is a central issue in Arab consciousness; the historical path of East-west civilizational relations is a crucial factor in shaping the boundaries of that relationship and defining its contours and turns across different historical stages, and that issue has received considerable attention from Arab thinkers and writers, to present themselves as a intellectual and literary problem, the Arab self-tried to deal with it with the mediation of cultural and intellectual reference and different literary traditions, the narrative speech had the greatest audacity to express it. This research seeks to study the relationship between the self and the other as expressed by the novel (the First love of another Love) of the gene Marie-bribery, and wants to stand on different formats such as the suffering of the Arab in the west, and his inability to integrate into Western society, especially in relation to the forms resulting from different values and traditions And the social habits between the east and the West, as well as the analysis of the problems facing the Arab in Western society, including the issue of integration into Western society, the relationship with Western women, alienation, self-narrative and the Problem of identity, and the role of the place in the demarcation of the boundary between the self and the other. The research follows the comparative approach that operates according to the analysis and comparison mechanisms, it also benefits from narrative analysis techniques such as time, space and characters.
