|a مما لا شك فيه أن أحداث 11 أيلول مثلت حدثًا تاريخيًا بالنسبة للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وللعالم ككل، ونقطة تحول في المفاهيم المؤطرة لعلاقاته الدولية بالذات مبدأ السيادة الوطنية الذي لم يكن بمنأى عن المهاجمة والاستهداف، بعد أن غيرت الولايات المتحدة تصورها للواقع السياسي الدولي، ووضعت مسار سياسيًا عسكريًا جديدًا هدفه الأساس بسط الهيمنة على المنطقة العربية وتفكيكها وإرجاعها إلى عصر ما قبل الدولة، مستندة بذلك إلى مرتكزات وآليات انتهاك تتنوع ما بين سياسي واقتصادي وعسكري...الخ، وبعيدة كل البعد عن العوامل الإنسانية، لتؤثر بالتالي وبدرجة كبيرة على مضمون مبدأ السيادة الوطنية وتحديدًا سيادة الدول العربية ونطاق تطبيقها وتعزيز تحولها نحو الانحلال والتراجع.
