|a إن من المسائل التي وقع فيها خلاف كبير بين علماء الدين، ويوردها كثير من المفسرين، وعدد من أصحاب السير والمحدثين، وهم فيها بين مبطل لها، وبين مثبت وموجه لها: قصة الغرانيق. والقصة باختصار هي: أن الشيطان قد ألقى على لسان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كلمات قالها، وهي قوله: (تلك الغرانيق العلى، وإن شفاعتهن لتربحي)، وهو يقرأ صلى الله عليه وسلم بمكة سورة: (والنجم)، على جمع من المسلمين والمشركين، فلما سمعوها تعجبوا من ثناء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم على آلهتهم بخير، فسجدوا معه. فأشكل على كثير من الجهابذة علماء الدين، من المفسرين والمحدثين، المتقدمين منهم والمتأخرين، فهم هذه الآيات؛ لاختلافهم في ثبوت قصة الغرانيق، أو توجيهها إن ثبتت عند بعضهم. وحينما كنت أقلب عددا من المخطوطات، في فهارس المكتبات، وقع نظري على مخطوطة في تفسير هذه الآيات، للشيخ مصطفى بن محمد العروسي، المتوفي بمصر سنة ونظرا لوجود هذا الاختلاف، فقد أطال العلماء الحديث عن قصة الغرانيق في كتبهم، ومنهم من ألف فيها مؤلفات، قديما وحديثا. 1293ه. سماها مؤلفها: "الهداية بنور الولاية". ورأيت أنه -رحمه الله-جمع فيها نقولا، وحرر فيها أقوالا، مشتملة على فوائد علمية، مجتهدا فيها بتحرير المسألة، وتوضيح الحق فيها. وحيث إن هذه الرسالة لم تحقق بعد. حسب اطلاعي وسؤالي. وقع اختياري على تحقيق هذه الرسالة، وإخراجها على وفق القواعد العلمية المعتمدة في تحقيق المخطوطات.
