المستخلص: هدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على تأثير إدمان الإنترنت في الاندماج الجامعي ومستوى الطموح لدى عينة من طلاب جامعة أم القرى، كذلك هدف هذا البحث إلى التنبؤ بالاندماج الجامعي ومستوى الطموح لدى عينة من طلاب جامعة أم القرى من خلال درجة إدمان الإنترنت لديهم ، وطبق هذا البحث على عينة عشوائية مكونة من (168) طالب من طلاب جامعة أم القرى، بمتوسط عمر زمنى قدره (21.05) عام وبانحراف معياري قدره (1.74) عام، واستخدم الباحث اختبار يونج لإدمان الإنترنت (1998) ترجمة وتقنين (إبراهيم 2009)، ومقياس الاندماج الجامعي إعداد (عفيفي 2016)، ومقياس مستوى الطموح إعداد (الباحث). وفي التحليل الإحصائي للبيانات اعتمد الباحث على معامل ارتباط بيرسون وتحليل الانحدار البسيط والمتعدد ، وكشفت نتائج البحث عن وجود تأثير سلبي لإدمان الإنترنت في الاندماج الجامعي لدى عينة من طلاب جامعة أم القرى، كذلك وجود تأثير سلبي لإدمان الإنترنت في مستوى الطموح لدى عينة من طلاب جامعة أم القرى، كما كشفت نتائج البحث عن أنه يمكن التنبؤ بالاندماج الجامعي لدى عينة من طلاب جامعة أم القرى من خلال درجة إدمان الإنترنت لديهم، وأخيرا كشفت نتائج البحث عن أنه يمكن التنبؤ بمستوى الطموح لدى عينة من طلاب جامعة أم القرى من خلال درجة إدمان الإنترنت لديهم ، وأوصي هذا البحث بالعديد من التوصيات منها ضرورة بحث تأثير إدمان الإنترنت في مهارات فعالية الحياة والسلوك العدواني والفوضوي لدى الشباب في المجتمع السعودي كذلك ضرورة تقديم برامج توعوية في وسائل الإعلام وداخل الجامعات للحد من إدمان الإنترنت لدى الشباب في المجتمع السعودي

This Research aimed to identifying the effect of Internet addiction on university engagement and the ambition level among Umm A1 Qura University students. Also, predict of university engagement and the ambition level among Umm A1 Qura University students through their degree of Internet addiction. And this Research applied on a sample consists of (168) students from Umm A1 Qura University with age average (21.05) and standard divation (1.74). Researcher used the for internet addiction (1998) which was Young test translated and standardized by Ibrahim (2009), the university engagement scale prepared by (Afifi, 2016), and the ambition level scale prepared by the researcher. For Statistical Analysis researcher depend on Pearson correlation coefficient and simple and multiple regression analysis. The Results of the Research indicated That there is a negative impact of Internet addiction on university engagement among Umm A1-Qura students University, there is a negative impact of Internet addiction on ambition level among Umm A1-Qura students University, university engagement among Umm A1-Qura students University can be predicted by their degree of Internet addiction, and finally the results of the research indicated that ambition level among Umm A1-Qura students University can be predicted by their degree of their Internet addiction. This Research Recommended by The impact of Internet addiction on irrational ideas among young people in Saudi society, Provide awareness programs in the media and within universities to raise awareness of the dangers of Internet addiction among youth in Saudi society, Encourage researchers to conduct more studies in Internet addiction to reveal its relationship with some other variables, Examine the impact of Internet addiction on the mindfulness of youth in Saudi society, The impact of Internet addiction on life effectiveness skills of youth in Saudi society, Examine the impact of Internet addiction on aggressive and Disruptive behavior among youth in Saudi society.
