المستخلص: The geographical scope of this article is Ighzar n'Mzab (Algeria), located in the Wilaya of Ghardaia known for its Ksourian heritage. Ksour which were built in the tenth century and are still functional until today. It is therefore in this paper to reread the history of M'Zab through an analysis of the genesis of the creation of a Mozabite ksar. For this, we will focus on the analysis of ksar, the stages of its construction, its urban and architectural features.

Le cadre géographique de cet article est Ighzar n’Mzab en Algérie. Une région située dans la Wilaya de Ghardaïa connue par son patrimoine ksourien. Des ksour qui ont été édifié au Xe siècle et sont encore fonctionnels jusqu’à nos jours. Il s’agit donc dans cet article de relire l’histoire du M’Zab à travers une analyse de la genèse de la création d’un ksar mozabite. Pour cela, nous nous attacherons à l’analyse du ksar, des étapes de sa construction, de ses caractéristiques urbaines et architecturales.
