|b According to Sufi doctrine, spiritual stability is necessary for a good evolution of the aspirant. It is inevitably supported, not only by the companionship of an accomplished master, but especially by the orientation of one's heart towards that initiator in question. It is expressed by trust and love. Our contribution proposes, through the Sufi heritage and from the teachings of some masters of brotherhoods, to review the causes of sectarianism through an analysis of the notion of the disciple's orientation. In addition, it is a question of questioning this heritage as to the possible remedies for such extremism.

|d Selon la doctrine soufie, la stabilité spirituelle est nécessaire pour une bonne évolution de l’aspirant. Elle est inévitablement soutenue, non seulement par le compagnonnage d’un maître accompli, mais surtout par l’orientation de son coeur vers cet initiateur en question. Celle-ci s’exprime par la confiance et l’amour. Notre contribution se propose, à travers l’héritage soufi et à partir des enseignements de quelques maîtres de confréries, de revoir les causes du sectarisme par une analyse de la notion de l’orientation du disciple. En plus, il s’agit d’interroger cet héritage quant aux remèdes possibles d’un tel extrémisme.
