وقد تناولت الندوة عدة بحوث من أساتذة من جامعات عراقية مختلفة أغنوا الندوة ببحوثهم القيمة والتي تناولت معاناة المجتمع العراقي الكثير من آثار الحروب وأن هذه المعانات القاسية تركت في نفوس الأفراد حالة من الخوف والإحباط ولاسيما عند الشباب منهم في تحقيق طموحاتهم في الحياة.
من أجل إشباع الحاجة وبلوغ الهدف سلوكا طبيعيا سواء كان على مستوى الفردي أم الاجتماعي وبسبب الظروف الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية التي مر بها المجتمع العراقي فقد سببت هذه الظروف سوء التكيف للفرد لذا ركزت الندوة على العوامل الاجتماعية المعتلة التي تؤثر سلبا على تكيف الشباب لمقتضيات الحياة الاجتماعية السليمة. حيث تتداخل فيما بينها مولدة حالات الانحراف التي تؤدي بالشباب إلى ارتكاب الجرائم نتيجة للأوضاع الاجتماعية السائدة في وسطه وتنحصر أغلب هذه العوامل في وجهة نظري فيضعف الضبط الاجتماعي داخل الأسرة يمثل الضبط الاجتماعي بشكل عام المظهر الرئيسي الذي يجسد عملية تنظيم العلاقات الإنسانية ويحدد اتجاهات السلوك في المجتمع، وهذا يعني أن نظام واستقرار وطمأنينة المجتمع إنما تعتمد على وجود وسائل الضبط الاجتماعي بما تعتمده من أساليب تهدف إلى التأثير في سلوك الإنسان بحيث يكون متوافقا مع مبادى وقيم ومصالح المجتمع إذ أن الضبط الاجتماعي هو كل العمليات والإجراءات التي تنظم السلوك، والتي عن طريقها يمارس الضغط على الأفراد والجماعات من أجل أن يتوافق سلوكهم مع قيم ومعايير المجتمع.
ويقترن الضبط الاجتماعي غالبا بالوسط الاجتماعي الذي يعيش فيه الفرد والمتمثل بالأسرة والجيرة وجماعة الرفاق وغيرهم إذ أن هذا الوسط يعد وسيلة فعالة في ضبط سلوك الأفراد بما ينطوي عليه من إجراءات معينة كثيرا ما تتمثل بالتخلي عن تقدير واحترام الفرد في حالة خروجه عن المعايير السائدة وفي حقيقة الأمر أن بعض وسائل الضبط الاجتماعي (غير الرسمية) قد ضعفت قدرتها على الصمود أمام متطلبات الواقع الجديد وأصبحت غير قادرة وبشكل ملحوظ على التكيف المناسب للتغيرات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والسياسية التي مر بها المجتمع العراقي وهذا ما أثر بدوره على سلوك بعض من الشباب فأدى إلى ارتكابهم بعض السلوكيات والتي لم يألفها وأيضا يعد التفكك الأسري من أهم العوامل التي تترك تأثيرا على سلوك الشباب لما له من أثر خطير على تغير مسار الشباب نحو الانحراف والجريمة.


The Department of Civil Society and Human Rights Studies, Al-Mustansiriya Center for Arab and International Studies/Al-Mustansiriyah University, held its annual and tagged scientific symposium (Iraqi youth in light of societal changes) on 26/3/2019 in the Center Hall in the presence of a group of external professors as well as professors from the Center.
The seminar dealt with several pieces of research from professors of various Iraqi universities who enriched the seminar with their valuable research, which dealt with the suffering of Iraqi society many of the effects of wars and that these severe suffering left individuals in a state of fear and frustration, especially among young people in achieving their aspirations to life.
In order to satisfy the need and achieve the goal in natural behavior, whether at the individual or social level and because of the economic, social and cultural conditions experienced by Iraqi society, these conditions caused poor adaptation of the individual. Therefore, the seminar focused on the social factors that negatively affect the adaptation of young people to the necessities of a healthy social life. Where they overlap the generation of cases of delinquency leading young people to commit crimes as a result of the social conditions prevailing in his midpoint, most of these factors are limited to my point of view, weakening social control within the family. Social control is generally the main manifestation that embodies the process of regulating human relations and determines the trends of behavior in society; this means that the system, stability, and tranquility of society depends on the existence of social control methods adopted by them aimed at influencing human behavior so that it is compatible with the principles, values, and interests of society as social control is all the processes and procedures that regulate behavior, through which Pressure is exerted on individuals and groups in order for their behavior to conform to the values and standards of society.
Social control is often associated with the social environment in which the individual lives, namely, the family, the neighborhood, the peer group and others, as it is an effective means of controlling the behavior of individuals, with certain actions often of abandoning the discretion and respect of the individual in the event that it deviates from prevailing standards. In fact, some (informal) social control methods have weakened their ability to withstand the demands of the new reality and have become noticeably unable to adapt appropriately to the social, economic and political changes that Iraqi society has undergone. This, in turn, affected the behavior of some young people and led them to the commission of some behaviors which he was not familiar with. Family disintegration is also one of the most important factors that have an impact on the behavior of young people because it has a serious impact on the changing path of youth towards delinquency and crime.
