يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على واقع كتابة البحث العلمي عند أعضاء هيأة التدريس في كلية الآداب ومحاولة عرض المشاكل التي قد تواجهه والوقوف عليها وإيجاد الحلول المناسبة لها من خلال توفير كافة مستلزمات كتابة البحث العلمي التي ستذلل العقبات أمام الباحث والتعرف على أعداد البحوث التي تكتب وتهم التدريسي اكثر من غيرها إذ أن البحوث التي يتم يعنى بها وكتابتها بصورة صحيحة ووفق القواعد الأساسية للبحث العلمي ستكون نتائجها اكثر دقة وهذا ما يسعى له البحث من اجل الرقي بهذا المجال وتقديم معلومات صحيحة لكل من يهمه البحث من اجل تطوير كافة المجالات. وقد اتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي في كتابة بحثه معتمد في ذلك على عينة البحث التي تم اختيارها عشوائيا والبالغة (١١٢) تدريسي تم توزيع الاستبانة عليهم والمكونة من (١٢) سؤال كما يعرض البحث مفاهيم حول منهج البحث العلمي وأنواعه واهم أهدافه البحث العلمي وأنواعه في حين تناول الجانب العملي اهم المشاكل التي تعترض الباحث أو التدريسي في كتابة البحث العلمي. وتوصل البحث لعدد من النتائج والتوصيات أهمها لا توجد مراكز بحثية خاصة لدعم البحوث المنشورة والباحثين.
The research paper tackles the most important difficulties facing writing of scientific research in the members of the faculty at the College of Arts and try to present these problems and stand by and find appropriate solutions to them by providing all the requirements of writing scientific research, that will overcome the obstacles to researchers .In addition, identifying the preparation of research written and areas of interest to the teaching more than others .The researches which are written correctly according to the basic rules of scientific research will have clear accurate results and this is what the researcher seeks to improve this area and provide correct information for all those interested in the development of all the areas in question. This research presents a concept about the scientific research methodology and the most important scientific research objectives. It also included the importance of the types of approaches used in writing, while the practical side dealt with the most important problems that face the researcher or teaching in writing scientific research. The study reached a number of the results of the recommendations: - Lack of research centers supporting researchers and scientific research. - The long period of time required to accept and publish the research.
