المستخلص: With the phenomenon of globalization, national economies had to deal with a total opening of borders, which has increasingly accentuated international competition. The multinationalization of banks has undergone a spectacular expansion which has resulted in locations in several countries of the world via different forms. Algeria, since the opening of its banking system to foreign holdings, has become one of the most attractive destinations for foreign banks. Through this article we will present the Algerian banking system by analyzing the two types of banks existing in the sector, based on the assessment of the contribution of the various indicators of banking activities through data collected for a period from 2009 to 2017.

Avec le phénomène de la mondialisation, les économies nationales ont dû faire face à une ouverture totale des frontières, qui a accentué de plus en plus la concurrence internationale. La multinationalisation des banques a connu une expansion spectaculaire qui s'est traduite par des implantations dans plusieurs pays du monde via des formes différentes. L'Algérie, depuis l'ouverture de son système bancaire aux participations étrangères, est devenue l'une des destinations les plus attractives pour les banques étrangères. A travers cet article nous présenterons le système bancaire algérien en analysant les deux types de banques existantes dans le secteur, en se basant sur l’appréciation de la contribution des différents indicateurs des activités bancaires à travers des données recueillis pour une période allant de 2009 à 2017.
