520 |f The thesis begins by speaking of the ironic style as one of the styles popular in the Italian language, citing numerous literary examples of which this style is a part.\nThe thesis also highlights the reasons why ironic style is used and its effect on the reader.\nThe thesis then deals with the world and thoughts of the Italian writer "Ignazio Silone", the author of "Fontamara", examining his family life, his studies as well as political life during the fascist era in the 1920s and 1930s until the end of the Second World War and the collapse of the fascist regime.\nThe thesis also hints at the coexistence of "Silone" of the miserable life of Italian peasants and especially of "Abruzzo", the region where the writer was born.\nThe author observes the sufferings of his fellow villagers and the injustice of the representatives of the fascist government towards the "peasants", while citizens live a peaceful life based on respect and good treatment.\nThe thesis recalls that this coexistence of "Silone" led him to write the novel of "Fontamara" which was very successful all over the world and was translated into numerous foreign languages.\nThe thesis also analyzes the plot of the work talking about the environment and the geographical nature of "Fontamara", in addition to the characters and their poor and hard life. This speech is considered a preface to clarify the reasons for the author's appeal to make use of the ironic style.\nThe thesis holds a comparison between the ingenuity of the "Fontamara" peasants and the cunning of the citizens who come to the "country" as representatives of the fascist government to collect taxes through the unfair mandates of that dictatorial government.\nFinally, the thesis extensively examines numerous stylistic and linguistic passages in which Silone's ironic style is very remarkable, considering himself as a weapon with which he fights that regime. The author does not intend to fool the peasants of "Fontamara", on the contrary, he aims to demonstrate the oppression and injustice of the fascists.\nThe last part of the thesis speaks of the tragic end of the peasants of "Fontamara" which turns into a loud cry against the fascist regime.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018 
520 |d La tesi inizia parlando dello stile ironico come uno degli stili diffusi nella lingua italiana, citando numerosi esempi letterari di cui, tale stile fa parte.\nLa tesi mette anche in risalto i motivi per cui si ricorre allo stile ironico e il suo effetto sul lettore.\nLa tesi tratta, poi, il mondo e il pensiero dello scrittore italiano "Ignazio Silone", l'autore di "Fontamara", esaminando la sua vita familiare, i suoi studi oltre alla vita politica durante l'epoca fascista negli anni Venti e Trenta sino alla fine della seconda guerra mondiale e il crollo del regime fascista.\nLa tesi accenna anche alla convivenza di "Silone" della vita misera dei contadini italiani e soprattutto dell'"Abruzzo", la regione in cui nacque lo scrittore.\nL'autore osserva le sofferenze dei suoi compaesani e l'ingiustizia dei rappresentanti del governo fascista nei confronti dei "cafoni", mentre i cittadini vivono una vita serena basata sul rispetto e il buon trattamento.\nLa tesi ricorda che tale convivenza di "Silone", lo indusse a scrivere il romanzo di "Fontamara" che ebbe un gran successo in tutto il mondo e fu tradotto in numerose lingue straniere.\nLa tesi analizza anche la trama dell'opera parlando dell'ambiente e della natura geografica di "Fontamara", oltre ai personaggi e la loro vita povera e dura. Tale discorso si considera come una prefazione per chiarire i motivi del ricorso dell'autore a valersi dello stile ironico.\nLa tesi tiene un paragone tra l'ingenuità dei cafoni di "Fontamara" e l'astuzia dei cittadini che arrivano al "paese" come rappresentanti del governo fascista per raccogliere le tasse tramite i mandati ingiusti di quel governo dittatoriale.\nLa tesi, infine, esamina largamente, a livello stilistico e linguistico, numerosissimi brani in cui è molto notevole lo stile ironico di Silone, il quale si considera come un'arma con cui combatte quel regime. L'autore non intende prendere ingiro i contadini di "Fontamara", anzi, mira a dimostrare l'oppressione e l'ingiustizia dei fascisti.\nL'ultima parte della tesi parla della fine tragica dei contadini di "Fontamara" la quale si trasforma in un forte grido contro il regime fascista.
