DC-AC power inverters are highly switching electronic semiconductor devices used to convert direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC). Since power electronics system applications depend mainly on DC-AC inverters, the DC-AC inverters require high level control. Thus, this thesis involves designing and simulating of two and three parallel three-phase inverters. In order to achieve load sharing between parallel power inverters, conventional droop control can be applied. The proposed control technique integrates inverters output voltage frequency and magnitude with droop technique and load voltage regulation control scheme. In power system control scheme, the output voltage magnitude and reference frequency for the inverters are achieved with respect to the characteristics of droop control. The design of the power system is designed and simulated using Matlab/Simulink. The resulted performance is promising. The power sharing between two and three paralleled inverters has been investigated during island mode. The proposed controller limits the circulating current and finds out that the voltage and frequency deviation is minimized.
