المستخلص: المسكوت عنهم: هم رواة لا يعرف حالهم جرحاً ولا تعديلاً وسكت عنهم العلماء فلم يصفوهم بالجهالة أو بعدم المعرفة والفروق بين المسكوت عنه وبين المجهول، أن الأول متوقف في حاله وفي حديثه، والثاني محكوم بجهالته وبضعف حديثه. الدراسة التاريخية:- المسكوت عنه لم يحتج به في القرآن والسنة لا شهادة ولا رواية، وظهر القول بالاحتجاج بالمسكوت عنه في عصر التابعين واتسع الخلاف في العصور التي بعدهم والراجح التوقف في حاله وفي حديثه رواية المسكوت عنه: المسكوت عنه إذا روى عنه الثقة فالراجح عدم الاحتجاج بحديثه لأن العدالة لا تثبت له بذلك - المسكوت عنه إذا روى عنه من لا يروي إلا عن ثقة فإن كان صرح بنفسه بذلك فروايته عن المسكوت عنه تعديل له، وإن لم يصرح بنفسه بل نسب له العلماء بأنه لا يروي إلا عن ثقة فبل تفيد روايته عنه العدالة لان الساكت لا ينسب له قول ولا نلزم العالم إلا بما قاله هو. - من حكم من الأئمة على حديث بالصحة أو الحسن فهو يقتضي قبول وتعديل جميع رواته بما فيهم المسكوت عنه فكأنه عدله.

The untold transmitters: They are narrators who we do not know about them, concerning invalidation and modification, and scholars did not say something about them, so they (scholars) never accused them of ignorance or lack of knowledge. The difference between the untold and the unknown is that the former is suspended in status and narration, and the latter is accused of ignorance and weakness of his narration. The historical study: The untold transmitters' narrations concerning The Holy Qur'aan and Hadith were not taken into account, concerning testification and narration. In the age of followers, the untold began to be taken into account, and the disagreement's gap widened during the ages that followed them, and it is predominant that the untold is suspended in status and narration. The untold narration: It is predominant that when an authoritative narrator narrates an untold narration, his narration is not taken into account; because it is not fair. When he who never narrates but from those authoritative narrators narrates from the untold narrator, and he himself decrees that, then his narration from the untold is a modification to him, even though he did not decree this himself, however scholars said that he never narrates but from an authority. Therefore, his narration from him does not guarantee his fairness, because we cannot attribute any saying to he who keeps silent, and therefore we cannot bind others except to what he has already said. Any scholar who said that a hadith is authentic or good means accepting and modifying all of its narrators, including the untold, and conducted as if he (this scholar) modified it.
